The Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance Team (FCMAT) is offering a full-day workshop on
financial requirements and best practices for charter schools.
Why Attend?
To help your charter school avoid fiscal challenges, learn to maintain your school’s fiscal health and
strengthen your internal finance capacity as well as gain skills in working with data and CALPADS.

Budget monitoring and multiyear financial projections

Audits
LCFF and LCAP
Ongoing and effective charter school oversight, including MOUs between charters and their authorizers
Who Should Attend?
Board members, business managers and other administrators of newly approved charter schools that have
yet to open, recently opened charter schools, or current charter school staff or board members who need a
refresher course on the above topics.
This workshop is also suitable for charter school authorizers or county office employees who are new to
charter schools or need a refresher course.
