BAEO Honors Jamar McKneely, CEO of InspireNOLA Charter Schools Jamar McKneely is the CEO and co-‐founder of InspireNOLA. McKneely spent seven years as a teacher and assistant principal at Edna Karr High School before becoming principal of Alice Harte Charter School. In 2013, together with the principal of a nearby high school, he created InspireNOLA charter schools, a new organization that manages two charter schools in New Orleans. “We can't just tell our kids that they should say no to violence and drugs, without substituting those behaviors with something else. We want to create opportunities for mentorship, service and community building,” McKneely once said in an InspireNOLA press release. We ask you to join us in recognizing Jamar McKneely for his courage and dedication to educating our children during National Charter Schools Week. Go to Twitter and celebrate McKneely by tweeting, “It’s Natl Charter Schools Week and @ntlbaeo is honoring Jamar McKneely & his work at @InspireNOLA! Thank you for your dedication! #NCSW".
