As always we are committed to showcasing the best of Colorado's craft brewers, winemakers and emerging
distilleries. We will continue to feature the 5K and 10K family "Volksmarches", tours of the historic venue and
the acclaimed and popular Kid's Zone. When you add in great music and great food, it all equals good times.
SPECTACULAR SETTING:
The festival is hosted by Chapel of our Saviour Episcopal Church, located at 8 Fourth Street on the historic
eight acre, brick walled grounds in Colorado Springs. This beautiful former Allen Family estate was built in
the 1920's and is located in the heart of the Broadmoor neighborhood. With Cheyenne Mountain as a
backdrop, the private wooded estate is two city blocks is size and offers breath taking views and scenic area
for this event. Free guided tours of the estate will be available throughout the day.
BENEFECIARIES:
The Feast of Saint Arnold will benefit Westside CARES in providing urgent basic human services to
westside neighbors in crisis, and the missions of Chapel of our Saviour. The 2nd annual event in
2014 netted just under $7,500 for charity.
DETAILS:
Saturday June 13, 2015, the gates open 11:00 AM for VIP’s and 5K and 10K Volksmarch walkers, 12noon is
general admission. Local breweries serve samples from 11am-4:30pm, the event ends at 5pm. There is parking
available on-site for attendees. This is a great family event! A fun family carnival area will host: face
painting, balloon artist, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Mobile, FlipShak, an obstacle course, and a magician.
