Description
Villa Sanda is a lovely villa consisting of two traditional stone cottages in a pretty bay on the Peljesac Peninsula. It is a wonderful hideaway perfect
for a group of friends or large family. Just 200m from the village and the beach and a short wander from two lovely sea edge restaurants. Is there
anything better than watching a spectacular sunset across a calm bay whilst sipping a glass of delicious local wine and liste ning to the sea lapping
gently next to your table? The sheltered bay here attracts sailing boats and cruisers and has a very pretty harbour, as well as one of the most idyllic
swimming spots you will find - the sea here is perfectly calm which makes this a perfect getaway spot for some relaxation!
Cottage 1: is set next to the pool and is divided into two apartments both with a large air conditioned living area. Both apartments have a double
bedroom a twin bedroom shower room and separate WC (access to the upper apartment via the garden terrace.
Cottage 2: entry from the garden to a spacious kitchen dining room (fully equipped) with utility room. While upstairs again accessible from steps
outside is a lounge with air conditioning and again 2 bedrooms a double/twin + shower room and WC
Both upper apartments also have a small kitchenette area, and between the cottages there is a fragrant garden with a BBQ and large dining table
is the perfect place to meet up, for family meals and a glass of local Postup. Should you wish to eat out there are two local restaurants within an
easy stroll one of which is a lovely family one on the beach. For trips further afield Orebic with shops and restaurants is just 12km away and there
are often island trips from the Bay over to Mijet, Korcula and Lastovo.
There are other villages a short drive away, if that also make a lovely visit and the medieval town of Korcula is within easy striking distance.
Snorkeling is lovely around the bay but there are also local snorkeling trips which are well worth a try which take you around some of the
uninhabited local islands. There is even a World War 2 wreck not too far away if you are a keen diver!
