ever-changing industry. For those of us travelling from Europe or the Americas, this is a great opportunity
to experience the enormous innovation that is apparent everywhere in retail and hospitality.
We are also excited to host our event closer to the fast-growing regions in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
Dubai is the perfect meeting point since it has been one of the main ports in the Persian Gulf
and the busiest trading port since 1900, with commerce being the main source of revenue for the emirate.
In our industry it’s about serving the customer and providing a memorable experience. The challenge is to
balance the rewards and the risks, so we can have a successful business. We believe that we must
always be looking down the road and plan our strategies years in advance in this challenging industry.
