Raleigh, N.C. – PLM Families Together, Inc., a 35-year-old nonprofit organization that moves families in
Wake County from homelessness to independence, is pleased to announce the selection of Lisa A. Rowe
as its new Executive Director. Previously, Rowe was director of the CapitalCare Collaborative. She brings
to her new role extensive leadership experience that has included Wake Crisis Cooperative, Habitat for
Humanity International, Transom Development and Wake County Human Services.
Rowe has been asked by the Board of Directors to focus on leading the organization through the next
steps in its multi-year strategic plan which includes partnering with donors and sister organizations to
better serve the community’s homeless and at-risk populations. She will begin on May 4th.
“I am excited about taking PLM Families Together to the next level,” says Rowe. “It has a strong,
reputation as an effective, industry-leading organization, and I look forward to growing our impact on
this community.”

PLM Families Together is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to moving Wake County families
from homelessness to stable homes through mentoring, housing support and connecting to community
resources. Last year, it moved 81 families into permanent housing – lifting on average one family every
4.5 days out of homelessness.
