professional equipment at the facilities of
Covenant Productions®. Facilities include a studio/
soundstage, editing stations, cameras, audio
studios, extensive lighting and grip equipment, etc.

David Armstrong is operations director for Covenant
Productions ®, a professional television and cinema production
company owned by Anderson University. He is an Emmy ®
award-winning television director and recipient of nearly two
dozen RIAA® Multi-Platinum, Platinum, and Gold Awards for his
professional work.

Donald Boggs is general manager of Covenant Productions ®
and a professor in the Department of Communication & Design
Arts at Anderson University. As a producer/director, he has
received over two dozen RIAA® Multi-Platinum, Platinum, and
Gold Awards, Telly awards, the Voice Magazine Video of the
Year award, two Emmy ® awards, a Dove Award nomination,
and multiple Gold Addy awards. He directed the first longform religious music video to reach the #1 spot on Billboard
magazine’s top videos chart. His documentary A Ripple of Hope
earned both Emmy ® and the Truly Moving Picture Awards.

Mark Dawson is a producer/director at Covenant
Productions ®. He worked as a TV news photographer/editor
for seven years, earning 17 state and regional awards in
the process. He then spent two and a half years as a staff
producer for an award-winning Nashville, Tenn. film and video
production company. Since joining Covenant, Mark has been
honored with Telly, ADDY, Aurora, Angel, and Ava awards as
well as two Emmys. Mark is an active member in the Society
of Camera Operators (SOC).

David Paul Kirkpatrick was production chief

for 17 years and as president of the Motion

Picture Group. Kirkpatrick has worked with
a diverse group of directors, including Peter
Weir, Francis Ford Coppola, and Martin Scorsese. In
2009, David became a follower of Jesus. He elected to devote
his life to honoring God and encouraging biblical literacy.
Currently, he teaches Christian worldview around the country.
Kirkpatrick also speaks to college students and educators
about the importance of “stories that matter.” He is developing
a motion picture on the life of Jesus Christ and his first novel,
The Address Of Happiness, was published in 2013. David is a
member of the Producers Guild of America and of The Academy
of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences.
Jack Lugar, native of Indianapolis, worked for over a decade
in Los Angeles as a television writer and producer. Jack’s
writing credits include the Warner Bros./FOX sitcom Wanda at
Large, From the Top for Family Theater Productions and several
projects for comedian Louie Anderson’s company, Louzell
Productions. In addition, he is the author of the humor book
The Starving Artist’s Diet and Hollywood Break-in–The Guide to
Planning Your Own Entertainment Career Caper. Jack recently
launched The Sitcom Lab website as a resource for writers.
Eric Maloney is vice president and senior editor of Innovative,
a leading Indianapolis creative services company. His work
has aired on major television networks and includes sports,
documentary, corporate, and promotional genres. He is a 1982
graduate of Anderson University.
