DOG OBEDIENCE TRAINING
About the Instructor:
Upon graduating from UVA, Ashleigh Morris looked to the dog world for a career
path. Her natural ability with dogs led her to also pursue a career in dog training.
Studying under an Animal Behavior Consultant, Ashleigh learned a variety of skills
to help others solve their dog’s behavior problems. She also learned to train dogs and
humans in the basic skills needed to enhance the human-animal bond. Ashleigh has
been training on her own since 2005 and continues to expand her knowledge and
education in order to help people mold their dogs into the perfect companion. She
uses positive reinforcement methods. Contact Ashleigh at (434) 589-7209 or
[email protected] with any questions.
*NOTE* Depending on demand, either Intermediate Obedience, Canine Good Citizen, or Confidence
Building will run during the times listed above. If you have an interest in these classes, notify Claire Lowande
or Ashleigh Morris. Claire Lowande (434) 589-2016, [email protected]

DID YOU KNOW?
Come visit the
PLEASANT GROVE HOUSE
MUSEUM!
(FREE Admission)
A slice of Fluvanna history resides in the renovated
Pleasant Grove House and Summer Kitchen Museums. The
House also serves as the County Welcome Center for
visitors along with housing exhibits relating to the history
of transportation in Fluvanna County including its reliance
over the early years on the Rivanna and James Rivers for
commerce and movement of our agricultural production to
Richmond and points east. To accommodate these uses, the
County had a historically accurate two-story addition joined
to the original building while restoring this facility in 2014.
The addition contains a catering room, an elevator providing access for people with disabilities as well as a small
reading room. The top floor of the original structure is utilized by the Fluvanna Department of Parks and Recreation.
Hours:
Monday to Friday 8am- 5pm
Saturday and Sunday 12pm – 4pm
Address:
271 Pleasant Grove Drive
Palmyra, VA 229663
