Seafood Safety Program Leader, SARDI
Alison Turnbull is the Sub-program leader of Food Safety and
Innovation, Seafood at the South Australian Research and
Development Institute. She is also Project Manager of SafeFish, an
Australian Seafood CRC program providing advice on food safety
and hygiene issues for market access for Australian seafood. In her
role at SARDI, Alison manages a group working on industry driven
seafood food safety and food innovation research projects. She is a
shellfish specialist with expertise in marine biotoxins, shellfish quality
assurance, international food standard development, risk analysis
and development of diagnostic capability for seafood.
