Zach Preiwisch (Captain of the
Inquisition) a freshman Musical Theatre
and Computer Science Double Major, is
thrilled to participate in his first mainstage
production at Carthage College! He
has loved working with the cast, crew,
and the production team on such an
amazing show. He would like to thank
the upperclassmen for everything they
have taught him, the production team
for allowing him to participate in the
mainstage musical as a freshmen, and
family and friends for support.
Sean Michael Kelly (Manservant/
Sancho Panza) is a Junior Musical Theater
major with a Dance minor. He is ready
to get back onto the mainstage this year
after appearing in SPRING AWAKENING
(Moritz), DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS
(Niko/Ensemble) and several dance shows
including KINESTHETIC CHIT CHAT and
AWAY FROM THE MIRROR. He has also
appeared in several workshop shows at
Carthage including EVITA (Che), LEGALLY
BLONDE the musical (Nikos/Padamadan/
Ensemble), PAL JOEY (Louis the Tenor),
Next to Normal (Gabe) and SEUSSICAL THE
MUSICAL (Wickersham). He was even lucky

with the OPEN DOOR THEATER COMPANY
(made up of current Carthage students
and alums) where they performed NEXT
TO NORMAL and SEUSSICAL. Last J Term
he was blessed to travel to Spain with
the CARTHAGE CHOIR. Many thanks to
Maggie Spanuello and Corinne Ness for
their constant drive and support. And to
Herschel Kruger for casting me in another
endearing role! Shout out to the Kelly fam!
Jerry, Mary, Jake, Sam and shih tzu Kirby.

Nicholas Huff (Don Quixote/Cervantes)
is a senior vocal performance major and
is pleased to make his debut with the
Theater Department in this role. He is
president of Lambda Kappa (professional
music fraternity), and holds positions in
Public Relations for Carthage Student
Opera and the Kenosha Symphony
Orchestra. He has been seen in Carthage
Student Opera productions of L’ELISIR
D’AMORE (Nemorino), GIANNI SCHICCHI
(Rinuccio), LE NOZZE DI FIGARO (Basilio
& Curzio), at the Racine Theater Guild
in LES MISERABLES (Marius) and as the
tenor soloist for Handel’s MESSIAH with
the Waukegan Symphony Orchestra and
at church performances in both Illinois
and Wisconsin. He most recently sang
alongside the famous Meredith Arwady
in an opera gala at First United Methodist
Church in Kenosha. Mr. Huff studied as a
young artist at Rocky Ridge Music Festival
last summer and was invited to sing on
a faculty recital with Lensky’s Aria from
Tchaikovsky’s EUGENE ONEGIN in its
original Russian and won the Concerto
competition there. He is excited to
play Luigi in Puccini’s IL TABARRO with
Carthage Student Opera this month and
looks forward to his long-term plans to
begin a graduate program this fall to
pursue a Master of Music degree in opera
performance at the Eastman School of
Music, Northwestern University, or the

Chicago College of Performing Arts. He
thanks the department for allowing him
into acting classes even though he is not a
theater major and is grateful to everyone
in his life for their support and love
throughout his years at Carthage.
Rae Paré (Governor/Innkeeper) Rae
is a senior music theatre and theatre
performance double major. She is very
excited to continue her work on the
mainstage. Aside from this production,
Rae works as a student ambassador, is a
member of Lambda Kappa (Professional
Music Fraternity), is a member of Alpha Psi
Omega (Honorary Theatre Fraternity), and
is a member of Carthage Choir. She has
appeared recently on the mainstage in UP
THE HILL (Anne-Marie), DAY AFTER NIGHT
(Zorah), DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS
(Lenore), and in STARS IN THE MORNING
SKY (Klara). She has also been seen in
Music theatre workshop’s CHICAGO (Roxie),
A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC (Osa), SEUSSICAL
(Wickersham, Jojo), LEGALLY BLONDE
(Vivienne), and an ensemble member in
workshop’s EVITA. She has also appeared
in Imagination Theatre’s, ANYTHING GOES
(Reno Sweeney), FIDDLER ON THE ROOF
(Tzeitel), and in the MUSIC MAN (Ethel
Toffelmier). A very special thanks goes to
her amazing parents and family for their

Stephen Hobe (Duke/Dr. Carrasco)
is a senior Musical Theatre & Biology
(Paleontology) double major who is
excited to complete his Carthage Theatre
career with Man of La Mancha! Previous
appearances on the main stage include

CHAPERONE (ensemble), also appearing

Stephen is 1st Vice President of Lambda
Kappa professional music fraternity and
a member of Alpha Psi Omega national
theatre honor society and Beta Beta
Beta national Biology Honor Society. He
is exuberantly excited to be spending
his summer performing L’ITALIANA IN
ALGERI (Mustafà) in Novafeltria, Italy
with La Musica Lirica. He looks forward
to attending NYU Steinhardt to pursue
a Masters of Music degree in Vocal
Performance, Classical Voice. He thanks
all of his friends, especially roommates,
his parents for their great support
through all of his crazy endeavors, and
Lorian Schwaber and Allison Hull for their
neverending devotion to seeing him
succeed.
Justice Good (Pedro) is a freshman double
majoring in Theater Performance and
Music Theater with a minor in Education.
He was in Carthage’s fall production of
DAY AFTER NIGHT (Nathan). He is also
involved in the Carthage Chapel Choir, the
men’s acapella group: Maximum Capacity,
and the improv troupe: Merely Players.
Justice attended Barrington High School
in Illinois where he was actively involved in
theater, men’s acapella, improv, and choir.
Justice has attended summer intensives
at Chicago’s Second City and Interlochen
and has had the honor of singing at The
White House, Carnegie Hall, and a preOlympic festival in London, England. This
summer Justice will be attending the Open
Jar Institute in New York to further his
Music Theatre experience. Justice wishes
to thank his directors and professors for
their guidance as well as his family for their
never ending love and support.
Austin Nelson (Jose/Moor) is a freshman
Music Theatre major and is excited to
be involved in his second main stage
production here at Carthage. His previous
Carthage roles include Meyer in DAY AFTER
NIGHT and Ernest in PAL JOEY. Austin is
also involved in the Carthage Choir and
Merely Players. He would like the thank
the cast and production team for always
staying on top of their game. He would
also like to thank his friends and family for
their undying support.
Karl Stefans (Tenorio) is a sophomore
music major with an emphasis in
composition and a German minor. He is
very excited to make his Carthage debut
with Man of La Mancha and has really
enjoyed being a part of this production.
He plays tuba in the Carthage Wind
Orchestra and Concert Band, sings with the
Carthage Choir, and plays harp for various
ensembles. He would like to thank the
beautiful Anna Robertson for convincing
him to audition for this show. He would
also like to thank everyone involved in
this production for making his first theatre
experience so wonderful.
Brad Hole (Paco/Guard)
Brad Hole is a freshman music theatre and
theatre performance double major. He
enjoys playing the trombone and working
on antique engines in his spare time. Brad
is very excited to be making his Carthage
mainstage debut in Man of La Mancha.
Gage Patterson (Juan) is a sophomore
Music Theatre major and is ecstatic to
make his mainstage debut with this
production. He has been seen in Music
Theatre workshop’s CHICAGO (Fred Casely),
THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY
SPELLING BEE (Chip Tolentino), ORDINARY
DAYS (Warren), and as a member of the
ensemble in both EVITA and PAL JOEY.
Gage is also a member of Lambda Kappa
(the Professional Music Fraternity) and
Delta Upsilon International Fraternity. He
would like to thank his family for all of
their support and Lizzie, Kati, and Alex for
being such great friends throughout the
production and for getting late night pizza

Colt Luedtke (Anselmo) is a sophomore
double major in theatre with an emphasis
in stage management and music. Colt has
worked on the Wartburg stage at Carthage
on DAY AFTER NIGHT (Assistant Stage
Manager), DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS
(Assistant Stage Manager), KINESTHETIC
CHIT-CHAT/2013 Fall Dance Show
(Assistant Stage Manager), and STARS
IN THE MORNING SKY (Run crew). Colt
was also the stage manager for a staged
reading of Vanya, Sonia, Masha, and
Spike in Carthage’s studio theatre and
participated in the 2015 KCACTF Region III
Management Mentorship Program. Colt is
a member of Alpha Psi Omega professional
theatre fraternity. Colt would like to
thank the faculty of the Carthage Theatre
Department for their endless support and
the opportunities they have provided him.
David Rodriguez (Muleteer, Moor) is
excited for his first mainstage musical.
David is a double major in Music Theatre
and Biology. The previous mainstage show
he was in was DAY AFTER NIGHT (David).
Workshops include EVITA (Ensemble),
CHICAGO (Ensemble/ Harry) and
SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL (Vlad Vladikoff ).
David is a proud member of Delta Upsilon
International Fraternity. David would like to
thank his friends and his wonderful family

Brittany Coriaci (Aldonza) is a Junior
Music Theatre Major and Communication
minor. At Carthage she has performed
in SPRING AWAKENING (Martha), A
CLAMOUR OF ROOKS (Owl), SMOKING
LESSON (Lisa Ann) and many a workshop
production including the most recent
PAL JOEY (Valerie/Sweet Lilac Time). She
also performs in shows at Six Flags Great
America during both the summer as well
as the Fright Fest seasons. Brittany cannot
thank Corinne Ness, Lorian Schwaber, and
Amy Haines enough for the many pep
talks, voice lessons, and the reminders
to always work on the skill of loving

Allison Wellnitz (Maria (Innkeeper’s
Wife)) is a junior Communication and
Music Theater student. She is extremely
stoked to be performing in her first
ever mainstage musical production.
At Carthage, Allison has performed in
numerous workshop shows including
LEGALLY BLONDE (Kate/Greek Chorus),
CHICAGO (Mary Sunshine), and THE 25TH
ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE
(Rona Lisa Perretti). She has been a proud
member of Carthage Choir for the past
three years as well. Special thanks to her
voice teacher, Corinne Ness, and professors
for all of the lessons, and skills she has
gained from classes these past few years.

Emma Terrell (Fermina/Ensemble) is
a sophomore Music Theatre major and

Macee Jo Mueller (Antonia/Alonso’s
Niece) is a junior double major in Theatre
Performance and Musical Theatre with a
minor in Business Administration. She has
recently been seen in Carthage’s mainstage
productions of DAY AFTER NIGHT, NO
NAME (Fringe Festival in Edinburgh,
Scotland), DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS,
and GHOST BIKE (American College
Theatre Festival). As well as the workshop
productions of LEGALLY BLONDE, A
MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, PAL JOEY,
NEXT TO NORMAL, and was Assistant Stage
Manager for AS YOU LIKE IT. She sends love
to her family and sends all her thanks to
God for all of these opportunities.

Hannah Shepherd (Housekeeper for
Alonso) is a junior transfer student
pursuing a Theatre Performance Major here
at Carthage. New to Carthage this year, she
is very excited to take part in Man of La
Mancha! She previously attended College
of Lake County in Grayslake, IL, where she
was featured as Lady Olivia in TWELFTH
NIGHT or WHAT YOU WILL and as Grace
Hoylard in BUS STOP to name a couple
notable roles. Since being at Carthage, she
has worked as a Costume Crew Member
for DAY AFTER NIGHT, been in the Fall
2014 dance show POINTS OF DEPARTURE,
performed as Hippolyta/Mustardseed in A
MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, and taken
part in much more. She would like to thank
her parents for the unconditional support
and love that they give her in pursuing her
dreams, her sister, Abby, for being her best
friend, and lastly, the Carthage Theatre
community for accepting her into their
family and making her feel at home in this
amazing department.
Anna Robertson (Barber) is a sophomore
Music Theatre and Psychology double
major. She is delighted to be in her first
mainstage musical at Carthage. She has
been seen on the mainstage in DAY AFTER
NIGHT (Halina), in the Music Theatre
Workshop productions of PAL JOEY (The
Kid), and EVITA (Ensemble), and in the
studio production of SMOKING LESSON
(Tare). Anna is also a proud member of
Carthage Choir. She would like to thank
her brother, Brett, for inspiring her love
of theatre and paving the way for her
throughout his life.
Christian Aldridge (Padre) is a junior
Music Theatre and Theatre Performance
double major, and is thrilled to be back
on the mainstage. Previous Carthage
Mainstage credits include ROSENCRANTZ
AND GUILDENSTERN ARE DEAD (Hamlet),
DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS (Train
Anna Luepke (Horse #1/Ensemble) is a
pretty righteous Music Theatre major you
might say. She also has a Dance minor.
Fierce. She would love to thank Herschel
for giving her the opportunity to appear in
Man of La Mancha. Or, MANE of La Mancha.
She has also been in PAL JOEY (Janet),
EVITA (ensemble) CHICAGO (ensemble/
Crazy Kitty) at Carthage College. This
year, she was in the faculty dance show
POINTS OF DEPARTURE, as well as the
student show AWAY FROM THE MIRROR.
Anna would like to thank her parents for

Austin Winter (Horse #2/Ensemble) is a
freshman Music Theatre major and a Dance
minor. He has been a part of theatre in
Milwaukee performing with First Stage in
PINKALICIOUS THE MUSICAL (Peter) and
most dear to his heart, A MIDNIGHT CRY
(Ensemble). He is extremely excited to
make his Mane-stage debut at Carthage
in MAN OF LA MANCHA. Most recently he
has been involved in the spring workshop
PAL JOEY (Victor), and dance concerts
AWAY FROM THE MIRROR and POINTS
OF DEPARTURE. Austin is new member
of Merely Players and is a graduate of
the Open Jar Institute. Austin would like
to thank the cast, crew, and production
team for their work as well as the Carthage

Jordan Nazos (Moorish Dancer) is a
freshman Music Theatre major and dance

Lauren McKee (Attendant to Antonia/
Ensemble) is a freshman double major in
Music Theater and Theater Performance
with a minor in Communications. She was
heavily involved in theater in high school
and is stoked to be involved in her first
mainstage Carthage production. She’d
like to thank her fellow cast members,
the production team, and her family and

Corrie Riedl (Serving Girl/Ensemble)
is a sophomore Theatre Performance
and Music double major with a minor in
Business Administration. She is so happy to
be performing on the Carthage mainstage
once again. Corrie’s previous mainstage
productions include DAY AFTER NIGHT
(Shayndel), NO NAME (Miss Marabelle/
Waitress/Maid), and AS YOU LIKE IT (Celia).
She has also participated in the Carthage
workshop productions of PAL JOEY (Terry)
and A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM
(Hermia), and the studio production of THE
INN (Evelyn). Corrie is a proud member of
Alpha Psi Omega, the honorary theatre
fraternity, and treasurer of Lambda Kappa,
the professional music fraternity. She
would like to thank the entire cast, crew,
and production team for creating such a
wonderful experience. Corrie would also

Herschel Kruger (Director/Chair, Division
of Fine Arts; Professor of Theatre)
Professor Kruger joined the Carthage
faculty in 2005 and served seven years as
Chair of the Theatre Department. During
his tenure as Chair the department added
majors in Performance, Technical Design
and Production, Stage Management, an
Interdisciplinary Music Theatre major, as
well as a Dance minor. In 2012 he was
named the Wisconsin State Chair of the
Kennedy Center, American College Theatre
Festival. (KC/ACTF) During the 2008-2009
school year Professor Kruger established
the New Play Initiative commissioning
original works for the Carthage Theatre
Program. Professor Kruger directed three of
the new plays from this series including NO
NAME, written by Jeffrey Hatcher, GHOST
BIKE, written by Laura Jacqmin (2013,
five KC/ACTF national awards including;
Distinguished New Play, Directing, Lighting
Design, Sound Design, and Outstanding
Scenic Design) HONEST, written by Eric
Simonson (2010, winner of four KC/ACTF
national awards including Distinguished
Curricular Development, Playwriting, and
two Distinguished Performance awards)
In 2014 Herschel directed the staged
reading of Mikaley Osley’s One-Act play
MATILDA’S CHARACTER which was named
a Region 3 winner. Other directing credits
at Carthage include DAY AFTER NIGHT,
NO NAME, SPRING AWAKENING, CABARET,
INSPECTING CAROL, SUNDAY IN THE PARK
WITH GEORGE, LYSISTRATA, MOON OVER
BUFFALO, BLOOD BROTHERS, PICASSO
AT THE LAPIN AGILE, POSTMORTEM,
INDEPENDENCE, and the entire OVER
THE TAVERN trilogy including OVER THE
TAVERN, KING O’ THE MOON, and LAST
MASS AT ST. CASIMIR’S. Professor Kruger
teaches both acting and directing classes,
and a variety of other theatre classes. He
has also led four separate J-term trips to
Greece, New York City (2), and Germany to
study theatre. He has worked as an actor
and director in New York, Illinois, Michigan
and Wisconsin. Professor Kruger earned his
MFA in acting from the University of Illinois.
He would like to dedicate this show to his
father Jerome (Pops) who passed away this
past February. Pops served as a role model
and inspiration in so many facets of life. La
Mancha was his favorite musical - enjoy
the ride!
Teresa McCarthy (Production Stage
Manager) is a senior Theatre major
with a minor in Business. This is the 17th
production she has been involved in at
Carthage. She is currently working on
two student directed shows opening
in May. She is very excited to be stage
managing her last mainstage show. Her
previous productions this year include
the Music Theatre Workshop productions
of PAL JOEY (Production Stage Manager)
and EVITA (Production Stage Manager).
Other credits include DIRTY ROTTEN
SCOUNDRELS (Production Stage Manager),
STARS IN THE MORNING SKY (Assistant
Stage Manager), and TARTUFFE (Assistant
Stage Manager). She would like to thank
the cast and crew for being on their game
no matter what. She would also like to
thank Grace, her friends and family for all
of their support, Maggie Spanuello for
restarting her drive for stage management,
and the theater department for the last
four years.
Martin McClendon (Scenic Designer/
Technical Director/Associate Professor
of Theatre) Martin is the current chair
of the Carthage Theatre Department.
After receiving his MFA in acting from
the University of Illinois at Champaign/
Urbana, he spent 10 years working as a
professional actor, carpenter, and scene
designer in Chicago and Los Angeles
before coming to Carthage. Martin is a
member of Actor’s Equity and SAG/AFTRA.
Acting credits include MOJO and SKYLIGHT
(Steppenwolf ), HONEST (Steppenwolf
Garage), CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN

and independent films. As a designer
he created more than a dozen sets for
Chicago’s Defiant Theatre, receiving Joseph
Jefferson Citation nominations for ACTION
MOVIE: THE PLAY and BLUEBEARD. Other
design credits include: DIARY OF A WORM,
NANCY DREW’S BIGGEST CASE EVER, and
STARGIRL (First Stage Children’s Theatre,
Milwaukee), ON THE VERGE and LAUGHING
STOCK (Artist’s Ensemble, Rockford, IL)
and MAYHEM (Evidence Room) and LOBBY
HERO (Odyssey Theatre) in Los Angeles.
Most recently at Carthage, Martin directed
the world premiere of UP THE HILL by
Keith Huff, as part of the Carthage New
Play Initiative. He would like to thank his
beautiful wife Jennifer and his wonderful
kids Arabella and Horatio for their support
and inspiration.
Kim Instenes (Costume Designer/
Assistant Professor of Theatre) Kim
holds an MFA in Costume Design and
Technology from Ohio University, and a
BA in Theatre from UW-Whitewater. Her
faculty credits include UW Parkside, UW
Whitewater, UW Milwaukee and Lawrence
University. In addition to teaching at these
schools she has designed costumes and
makeup for a number of productions
including IMAGINARY INVALID, PRIDE AND
PREJUDICE, TROJAN WAR, SWEENEY TODD
and TRANSLATIONS. Kim continues to
work as a freelance costume and make-up
designer in the Milwaukee/Chicago area.
Professional design credits include THE
GIVER and BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT
EVER, as well as the musical BIG at First
Stage Milwaukee, JEEVES INTERVENES and
HEROES at Milwaukee Chamber, ROMEO

few. GHOST BIKE won her a Certificate of
Merit from the Kennedy Center American
College Theatre Festival for costume and
makeup design and an invitation to show
her work at the Festival. Kim is excited to
be a part of the Theatre Department here
at Carthage as it strengthens and strives to
create theatre artists of the highest quality.
She enjoys the thrill of watching a student
understand what a costume does for
their character and watch that character
come to life as a result. She would also
like to thank her family, husband Doug,
and children, Lauren and Dalen, for
their continued support of her creative
endeavors.
Amy Haines (Music Director) teaches
Voice, Vocal Pedagogy, Popular Music
in America, and helps with the main
stage musicals. A graduate of Carthage
with a MM from The San Francisco
Conservatory of Music, and further study
at Northwestern University, Amy also
coordinates the Carthage Voice Lab and
teaches cross-divisional liberal arts courses
including “Exploring Poetry and Song in
French and Spanish” with colleague Pascal
Rollet, of Modern Languages. Along with a
perpetual love of languages, the arts, and
nature – have a snorkel, give me a rock so I
can stay under to listen to the humpbacks
sing - Amy is currently fascinated with
Creativity. With a group of colleagues Amy
is designing a new J-term course that
explores adopting a creative approach to
myriad applications. Recent presentations
at the Hawaii International Conference
on Arts and Humanities, and the 6th
International Conference in the Physiology
and Acoustics of Singing have been

Valerie Gonzalez (Choreographer/
Adjunct Instructor of Theater-Dance)
received her Master of Fine Arts degree
in Dance Performance and Choreography
from New York University’s Tisch School of
the Arts. She was a guest teaching artist
in the dance program of Western Michigan
University and has served on the faculty
of several diverse New York, Chicago and
Wisconsin studios. Valerie has trained and
performed with notable companies such as
Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago IL, River
North Chicago Dance Company, Chicago
Arts Project and Joel Hall Dancers. Valerie’s
experiences have allowed her to perform
across the country and internationally. She
is thrilled to be able to continue to mentor
students through the art of dance and is
excited to be working with this amazing
cast.
Prof. E. Edward Kawakami (Conductor), a
Los Angeles native, is Assistant Professor of
Music and Director of Orchestral Activities
at Carthage College. Prior to joining
the Carthage College faculty, he held a
range of musical roles in the Tallahassee,
Fla., region including associate music
director and conductor of Tallahassee
Youth Orchestras, music director of the
Florida State University Campus Orchestra,
associate conductor of the Big Bend
Community Orchestra, and music director
of the Tallahassee Virtuosi and the affiliated
Music Rebuilds philanthropic organization.
He has conducted operas, musicals
and ballet productions, adjudicated a
variety of music festivals, and was an
invited guest clinician for an assortment
of ensembles around the state.Before
moving to Florida, Prof. Kawakami worked
in Los Angeles as the conductor for the
c o n t.
California State University, Northridge
Symphony, and Chamber Orchestras, as
well as being employed as a conductor
of various musicals, film soundtracks, and
varied guest conducting positions around
southern California. Other conducting
experiences included international
appearances with the Jünge Philharmonie
Salzburg, the Österreichisches Ensemble
für Neue Musik, and the Kharkov
Philharmonic of Ukraine.Prof. Kawakami’s
research and educational interests lie in
the perception and cognition of music and
applied interpersonal skills in teaching and
conducting environments, which reflect
his background in the social and physical
sciences. He has presented research
posters at the 2014 NAfME Conference
and the 2012 AMTA Conference, and
most recently presented a session at the
2015 International CODA Conference.
Former pupils from both the Southern
California and Florida regions have become
successful in a variety of fields ranging
from professional solo and ensembles
musicians to public school and higher
education teachers. Prof. Kawakami holds
a B.M. in wind performance from California
State University, Northridge; an M.M. in
orchestral conducting from Florida State
University; and a Ph.D. in music education
with an emphasis in orchestral conducting
from Florida State University.
William Newcomb (Assistant Technical
Director/Lighting Designer) holds a B.F.A.
in Technical Theatre from Tarleton State
University, Stephenville, Texas, and an
M.F.A. in Arts Administration from Southern
Utah University. He was assistant manager
of the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre for
two years before coming to Carthage.
William also served as production Manager
for the Optimist Theatre’s Shakespeare
in the Park. William is a national member
of USITT. Other credits include technical
director of the Wells Fine Arts Center
at Tarleton State University, assistant

technical director at Oberlin College, scene
shop foreman at Ohio Light Opera, and
assistant to the production manager of the
Utah Shakespearean Festival. He would like
to thank his wife Alison for her continued
love and support and Spencer too.
Matt Smith (Assistant Music Director/
Rehearsal Pianist) is currently enrolled as
a senior at Carthage College, majoring in
Music Performance on piano and organ.
He is from Geneva, Illinois, where he
began piano lessons at the age of nine. His
interest in making a career in music started
in Geneva Community High School, where
he was a keyboardist in the pit orchestra
for the high school musicals. He continues
his interest in music theatre by working at
Carthage as a rehearsal pianist, assistant
music director, and vocal coach. He is
also an active organist, giving recitals at
Carthage College and playing for church
services at both Carthage College and
St. Mary’s Lutheran Church in Kenosha,
Wisconsin. He plans to continue his studies
in organ by attending graduate school. His
current teachers are Mr. Richard Hoskins
on organ and Dr. Debbie Masloski on
piano. He thanks his numerous teachers
and mentors, past and present, for their
support and expertise, and his incredible
family for their love and encouragement.
Allison Kasprovich (Assistant Stage
Manager) is a junior double major in
Theatre and English, with a minor in
Secondary Education. She most recently
worked as Assistant Stage Manager
on the fall dance show, POINTS OF

Amanda is a junior here at Carthage. She
