PSYCHOLOGY SERVICES Our team of doctoral-level psychologists offer specialized diagnostic assessments and psychological testing for developmental concerns, autism, ADHD, mood disorders, parenting assessments, risk issues, and learning issues. Psychological assessments can be completed from early childhood through older adulthood. Thoroughness is a key value of the psychology staff in determining what diagnosis may be present and the recommended treatment course. Case Managers work with adults in their homes and in community settings to assist with linking clients and families to needed services in the community. This service is also designed to assist adults in learning to cope with symptoms of a mental illness so that they are able to stay as independent as possible. ASSERTIVE COMMUNITY TREATMENT (ACT) The Assertive Community Treatment program is a service delivery model for providing community based treatment to adults with severe mental illness. Providers in this program are mobile mental health providers who function as a team to provide rehabilitation services that support successful living in the community. Team members include: nurses, case managers, addiction therapists, employment specialists, therapists, and a psychiatrist. GROUP SERVICES FOR ADULTS There are several evidence-based groups from which adults in need of structured skills-based learning can benefit from, such as Illness Management and Recovery (IMR). These programs cover social, financial, and coping skills. RESIDENTIAL SERVICES Group homes and semi-independent living programs provide extra guidance and support for adults with severe mental illness. Case Managers work with children and families in client homes and family settings to learn about positive ways to manage stress and addressing behavioral concerns. This is done with the support of curriculum that has shown to improve the lives of those we serve. SCHOOL BASED SERVICES Many of the schools in our area have Case Managers assigned to their schools in order for us to support students who have emotional or behavioral difficulties in school. This service eliminates barriers for famililies that want to access behavioral health services. Our school programs have shown to increase grade point average, improve school attendance and reduce behavioral problems. WRAP AROUND This service is designed to assist families who are in very intense need of support. We “wrap” care around the family by engaging a large support system focused on meeting family needs and collaboratively developed goals. SUMMER PROGRAMMING Each summer we provide programs to children and adolescents who are in need of a structured therapeutic environment focused on social skills training and recreational opportunities. ASSISTANCE WITH PHYSICAL MEDICINE We have multiple programs designed to assist individuals and families in navigating primary care and other physical medicine services. It is important to have a holistic view of people, so collaborating with physician groups is a critical component of our service delivery. ENGAGE:EMPOWER:ACHIEVE
