Mercier Training for Licensed Professionals Are you a practitioner that is interested in learning Mercier Therapy techniques? We offer a 20 hour, fully accredited course for Massage Therapists amongst other licensed professionals in which to gain valuable knowledge of women's health in a traditional sense as well as from a medical perspective. When writing the curriculum for the Mercier Therapy Professional Training course I wanted to convey the importance for the therapist to be able to have an intelligent conversation with a medical professional to be able to explain our work and understand the medical lingo. It is so important that we have conversations and use terminology relevant to our work in women's health. As a midwife I believe that it is critical that we have the training and skill to care for women during their time of fertility challenges as well. Doulas are encouraged to come and train with us as well. I am happy to announce that there are 62 certified Mercier Therapists within the states, 2 in Canada, 1 in Australia, 19 in Denmark and 1 in Austria. 2014 has been a big year as Mercier Therapy Professional Training went to Europe to offer a training course and the release of our documentary film in May.
