People:
Most merciful God, for the times that we go out
and squander our blessings and use them
for our own benefit instead of yours.
We are sorry.
For the times we give into
selfish temptations of the flesh.
We are sorry.
For jumping to conclusions and judgments
about other people and about you.
We are sorry.
For times we allow arrogance and self-righteousness
to tell us we are better than those around us.
We are sorry.
For the times we choose to stay in our own comfort zones
instead of following your call.
We are sorry.
And for the times that we have fooled ourselves
into believing that we don’t need You,
that we can do it on our own.
We are sorry.
For the sake of Your son Jesus Christ,
have mercy on us and forgive us,
that we may delight in Your will,
and walk in Your ways, to the glory of Your name.

Oceans (Where Feet may Fail)
You call me out upon the waters
The great unknown where feet may fail
And there I find You in the mystery
In oceans deep my faith will stand
And I will call upon Your name
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise
My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours and You are mine
Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters wherever You would call me
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
In the presence of my Saviour I will call upon Your name
Keep my eyes above the waves
My soul will rest in Your embrace
I am Yours and You are mine

Go, My Children, with My Blessing
Go, my children, with my blessing, never alone.
Waking, sleeping, I am with you, you are my own,
In my love’s baptismal river I have made you mine forever.
Go, my children, with my blessing, you are my own.
