Storage for Your Life Solutions Inc. awards a scholarship in the amount of $500 to students who are graduating from Frank Hurt Secondary and will proceed to a post-secondary institution. All applicants will be judged on their academic excellence and leadership within the community of the City of Surrey. Scholarship Details: 1.) Scholarship will be awarded to a graduate of Frank Hurt Secondary who is proceeding from Grade 12 to a recognized post-secondary institution (university, college, BCIT or other postsecondary institution). 2.) Applicants for this award must complete the Frank Hurt Secondary Scholarship application form and attach a 500 word essay on the following topic: “Describe something you have done in the past year that has made a difference in your community and how you plan to continue with this initiative after graduation.” 3.) Applicant must include transcript and a reference letter from an individual/organization who has observed their community leadership (i.e. charitable organization, peer, teacher, etc.) Application Requirements: 1.) Application form, reference letter, transcript and essay must be handed in to the Counselling Department at Frank Hurt Secondary or to Storage for Your Life Head Office (by hand or courier to the address below) before March 30th of the graduating year. 2.) The company will be involved in the selection of the winner who will be announced at the school graduation ceremony. 3.) The funds will be available when the student has enrolled in a post-secondary institution.
