Champion Forest Women's Club Scholarship
Must be a female senior who has demonstrated academic
excellence as well as contribution to the school and/or
community who is planning to attend a 2 or 4-year
accredited college or university. Criteria: 30% academic;
30% extracurricular; 30% community service and leadership
10% personal statement. Application, information page and
transcript request must be submitted to Ms. Georgiana in
the first floor counseling office by April 27.
Doerre Intermediate School PTO Scholarship
M:ust have attended Doerre Intermediate for at least 2
years and have a current GPA of 3.0 or better. Should be
able to demonstrate school and community involvement.
Application, autobiography, letters of recommendation,
copy of school acceptance letter and transcript request
are due to Mrs. Georgiana in first floor counseling office
by April 28. Applications are available in the first floor
counseling office.
April 30
Jack and Jill of America Scholarship
Must be African American with GPA of 2.5 or higher on a
4.0 scale. Must have been accepted to college, trade/
technical school or university. Applications are available
in the first floor counseling office.
May 1 Postmark Striving for Excellence Scholarship
Graduating senior with a cumulative GPA of 75 - 89. Must
apply to a 4-year or 2-year college or vocational school as a
full time student. Attach all documents (application unless
applying online, two letters of recommendation, essay,
picture, and copy of acceptance letter) to the transcript
request and give to Ms. Georgiana in room 127. Students who
apply online still need to turn in all additional documents to
Ms. Georgiana. All documents are due by April 28.

May 6 Postmark Minute Maid Grand Slam for Youth Baseball Scholarship
Must provide evidence of admission to a two or four year
college or university. Must have participated in an
organized youth baseball or softball program at any time-including but not limited to T-Ball, Little League, Pony League,
Church Leagues, YMCA, Boys and Girls Club Instructional
Leagues, etc. CANNOT be a recruited prospective student
athlete. Applications available in first floor office or at:

Justin Brock Memorial Scholarship
Graduating senior who plans to attend an institute of higher
learning. Essay required. Student should attach a
transcript request to the application along with all
