Free Disposal Week at the Transfer Station
The Town will be holding a Free Disposal Week at the Transfer Station and Recycling Center
Monday, October 20, 2014 and Ending on Sunday, October 26, 2014
There will be no fees for residents during this week for items listed below. There will be a fee for tires and 20 lb. propane
cylinders - a reduced rate of $2.00 each. Commercial truck tires (20” and up), along with equipment tires will be $10.00
each.
Tires and propane cylinders can be paid for by punch card. No cash will be accepted at the facility.
TV’s, Computers, Monitors, Keyboards, Mouse, CPU’s, Laptops, Printers, Scanners and UPS’s
Will Be Accepted During This Time
Free Disposal Week
This program is designed for residents to dispose of old appliances, tires, building materials from home projects, and
miscellaneous items.
This program is not intended for major demolition disposal. Commercial contractors will be assessed fees.
Only Yarmouth Residents are Permitted to Use this Facility
A current (2014) Transfer Station Window Sticker will be required to enter the facility.
Stickers may be purchased at the Town Hall for $25.00 each.

*All oils & fuels must be removed by the owner prior to drop-off.*

Hazardous Waste disposal is not permitted during this program. Hazardous Waste includes pesticides, fertilizers, oil-based
paints, cleaning solutions, and other materials picked up during the Household Hazardous Waste Clean-up held annually in
September. Latex Paint is not hazardous and can be disposed of at the Transfer Station – see attendant for details.
