LEGO Night! On Saturday, May 9th from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. in the Ministry Center, Friends of Redeemer will be hosting a LEGO building competition. The cost is $10 per participant. There are 3 skill levels to choose from: Builder’s Skill Level (Choose a level) Beginner -‐ “I can build with instructions and a lot of time.” Intermediate -‐ “I can build quickly with instructions.” Master Builder -‐ “Instructions ~ What are those?” There are NO AGE LIMITS. I encourage adults to join in and to bring friends. There will be prizes, raffles, food, face painting, fun and fellowship. Childcare will be provided. Competition Outline: Bring your own LEGOs completely deconstructed. We recommend bringing a cookie sheet (or a tray with a lip) to contain your pieces. Each level will have a different building challenge. The actual building time will be only 40 minutes (so practice your skills). You will not be using instructions, but will be creating your own masterpiece! You will be judged based on Completion, Creativity, Uniqueness and Aesthetics. If you need to borrow LEGOs, please check the box on the registration form. Cost is $10 per participant. All funds raised support Friends of Redeemer whose mission is to make Christian education accessible to all families. Schedule 5:30 – 5:50 p.m. Check-‐in and Set-‐up. 5:50 – 6:30 p.m. Build! 6:30 – 7:00 p.m. Judging, Awards, and Raffles. There are volunteer opportunities as well. We can use help with childcare, food donations, preparation, judges and donations of LEGO sets for prizes and raffles (leave in office).
