Starting this tourist season, Hoonah artists can rent stalls for $20 a day to display their crafts at the port, 1 1/2 miles from the community. Icy Strait's vice president of operations Tyler Hickman said only one local, Tara Jacobson, has signed on. She sells necklaces made of copper and polished stones. Hickman said there is enough space available to accommodate 15 artists.
