Harness the full power of your MINI, with the John Cooper Works sports suspension. Its components are specially designed to provide optimum roadholding.
The short, extremely stiff coil springs are painted a striking Red, and lower the
suspension by 10 millimetres. The rugged suspension cross-brace makes the
car more stable at speed by reducing body vibration. And sports seats in leather
or Alcantara ensure a driving experience as comfortable as it is exciting. The
bucket design features a lightweight plastic frame and pronounced side bolsters
for excellent lateral support when cornering at speed. For a harmonious overall
interior feel, the sports steering wheel, gear lever knob and handbrake grip are
also available in Alcantara or leather, trimmed with Carbon elements. Interior
surfaces and door grips likewise in Carbon complete the race-car ambience of
the cockpit. The indoor car cover protects against dust and dirt – while showing
that you can still leave a racy impression even when you’re not moving. And
to enhance driving enjoyment still further, there are the motorsport-inspired
additional instruments1 (radiator temperature, relative torque and lateral
acceleration indicators). So all that remains is for you to climb in and hit
the road.
