the best Colombian DJs, cured by several large industry makers including Tiesto and
Smoking Jo’, and one of the rising artists to put an eye on, who has gained not only
respect and a place within the finest electronic music industry by his music productions,
but a good will reputation name because undeniable Dj skills and a talent to manage
crowds with invaluable support from big DJs to consider.
Having played alongside some of the world’s
most recognized Djs including hand claps by
John Digweed and Danny Howells, Gare Mat K
has had the opportunity to prove his artist skills
with some of the brightest names within the
classy electronic stage including Sasha, Timo
Maas, Loco Dice, Stelios Vassiloudis, Hernan
Cattaneo, BT, Danny Rampling, Sander
Kleinenberg, Da Hool, Hatiras and Pole Folder,
only to name a few, gaining an army of followers
in the international arena and their own place
within the finest music industry without doubt.
Not only his music productions are highlighted within the electronic music industry as his
DJ Mixes WMS 2015 A + B Side do, released exclusively in the Winter Music Conference
2015 week in Miami, achieving the position # 63 in the top 100 of best worldwide minimal
worldwide.
His music catalog includes more than 30 releases; both original and innovative remixes in
the latest years as well as exclusive edits for Daft Punk, Underworld, Alex Dolby, Kazell,
Anthony Pappa, Jeff Bennett, Tom Pooks, Federico Epis and Home Video among others.
His productions have made echo in the music industry bringing him to be featured by well
known record labels including the prestigious German ZYX, British Baroque, Italian
Frequenza, Japanese 19 Box, Brazilian Hypnotzd Musik, The Netherlands Red Light
District and his own imprint Progrezo Records to remark some-ones.
Gare Mat K appears in some large global dance music compilations alongside Hermanez,
Kruse & Nurenberg, Martin Eyerer, Oliver Klein, Martinez, Stefano Noferini, Rainer
Weichhold, Lützenkirchen, Alex D'elia and Phunk Investigation.
It has to be said that the recent years led Gare
Mat K to a prominent international talent, giving
him the opportunity to perform in Ibiza with Pole
Folder, Berlin, Barcelona, Dominican Republic,
Montevideo, Bogota, Santiago de Chile, Medellin,
Miami, Los Angeles, Maceió and Cartagena
among other cities, to land in 2012 in Buenos
Aires for his fourth album recording but the first as
a solo-artist producer inspired in the
city’s
atmosphere, its architecture and culture hand-byhand of his music influences from 80's synth-pop
bands like Kraftwerk and 90's new wave sound
like Depeche Mode to Detroit and Berlin techno,
pushing him to setup a new analogue synths and
drum-machines music studio in Buenos Aires.
His first compilation 2xCDmix "Communication", reached #2 at Tower Records throughout
Colombia and was considered one of the best and most attractive releases by a
recognized webzine specialized in electronic music, Sound Revolt. Comunicacion featured
not only big industry makers like Jimmy Van M and Nick Warren, but Gare Mat K’s DJ and
studio skills. His second compilation 2xCDmix "Contact traumfahrt" mixed next to
Beatport’s best minimal producer in 2009 Alex Young, brought Gare Mat K fingerprint to a
new level within the finest electronic music industry, highlighting not only remarkable
producers from Progrezo Records such as Anthony Pappa, but proving his joint venture
with Berlin Bpitch Ctrl and music from Gaiser and Telefon Tel Aviv.
His third compilation 2xCD "Parallelism", is mixed
along with the renowned Italian DJ and producer
featured
on
Bedrock,
Audiotherapy,
Globalunderground and Rocket & Ponies, Alex
Dolby, reaffirming Gare Mat K himself as one of
the tomorrow’s best talents with an outstanding
sound as a forward-thinking artist to watch.
Gare Mat K has been invited to play at the
"Encuentro Electronico" in Colombia supported by
Mutek festival (Canada) alongside Gustavo
Lamas, Vladislav Delay, Marciano, Portable,
Crackhaus, Tim Hecker, Luomo ... as well as has
performed in front of 50,000+ people at "Rock al
Parque” Electronica stage.
