Understanding Goal:
Understands the function of alignment, spacing, and paragraph indent, inserting images and editing
to modify the presentation of a document so it can be aim to specific audience, arguing their changes
INDENTATION
VOCABULARY
Indentation determines the distance of the paragraph from either the left or the right margin.
Within the margins, you can increase or decrease the indentation of a paragraph or group of
paragraphs. You can also create a negative indent (also known as an outdent), which pulls the
paragraph out toward the left margin. You can also create a hanging indent, in which the first
line of the paragraph is not indented, but subsequent lines are. 1

Open the “Gimnasio Colombo Britanico Anthem” file in “Activities” folder in the desktop
and save it as “Last name First name Activity 2” in the Second Term folder.

Add: Date, Name and Group”

Type the title ” GIMNASIO COLOMBO BRITANICO ANTHEM
4.
Add the following text:

Check the text for possible spelling mistakes.

Using the edit tools, organize the verses so the Anthem will be right.

Do changes of:

Font, color, size, style.
Alignment.
Line Spacing
Indentation.
To make the text suitable for a “School Billboard” (To paste in a wall)

On internet look for two images related to the content and paste those in the document
(add the urls).
9.
Write a paragraph below the pictures describing the changes you make to the text and
why now this is suitable for a School billboard.
10.
Save the file.
11.
Print the file
