WEEK 8 – Final Week

Learning intention: My focus this week is on completing
the last chapter Animal Farm. and all the activities outlined
below.
Read Chapter Ten of Animal Farm. Remember, you need to
complete a minimum of three sticky notes for discussion per chapter.
Use these stickies to identify evidence in the novel that will assist you
in composing responses for this text. Each sticky note MUST be
supported with evidence from the text, as a foundation for accountable
talk discussion in teams and with the teacher. Stick these stickies in
your novel.
Formal task due Wednesday
You should, by now, have an extended response composed for your
exam on Wednesday. Ensure you practice writing this at home under
exam conditions.
Remember to use the scaffold for analytical paragraphs as well as the
plan for an extended response to help you structure your essay.

Success criteria:

novel.
I have utilised the information I gained from my teacher
about how to structure my paragraphs and extended responses
to compile my essay for the formal assessment.
I have composed an extended response for the formal task
and have practiced writing this at home under exam conditions.
I have packed my assessment cover sheet in my bag to hand
in on the due date of my formal task.
