During this period India transformed itself from an agricultural economy to a service economy. Services now form 55 per cent of the Indian economy. The growth and development of the Information Technology (IT) and Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES) have had a significant role in changing the face of the economy. The Indian economy is headed in a new direction - striving to touch double – digit annual growth rates, and a sustainable, equitable and inclusive growth, taking into account the needs of all sections of society. India's economic growth has passed through for major phases over the past 60 years and is emerging to a new phase with a broad objective of “Inclusive Growth”. The basic objective as stated by the Planning Commission is 'faster, more inclusive and sustainable th growth'. It was mentioned that the priority areas in 12 Five Year Plan would be betterment of farmers, small industries and cottage th industries. The objectives and targets of the 12 five year plan put emphasis on the achievement of inclusive growth but, it is still a burning question that whether this time India would be able to achieve all the targets decided for the achievement of inclusive th growth or like 11 Five year Plan it would lag behind and the The research papers on the above mentioned sub-themes are invited for this national seminar.
