Chip Watson is an Atlanta-based commercial real estate executive with broad experience in both industrial
and office properties. A Principal with Avison Young, Canada’s largest independently owned full service
real estate firm, Mr. Watson has represented a diverse group of local, national, international clients. His
practice focuses on delivering real estate solutions to clients whose business and financial success often
hinge on swift and smart real estate decisions.

With extensive experience in build-to-suits, manufacturing facilities, food processing plants,
transportation hubs, third-party logistics and supply chains, Mr. Watson has developed real estate
strategies for users whose requirements range from complex site selection and construction issues to
simple leases or sale/leasebacks. While his primary focus is in the industrial sector, he also represents
many clients whose needs include office or production facilities. Further, his experience in industrial
(heavy civil) development is beneficial to his clients in regards to infrastructure and ground up
construction.
Known for his high standards in customer service, Mr. Watson combines his knowledge of the real estate
market with a consultative approach to problem solving to achieve the goals established by his clients.
Prior to joining Avison Young, Mr. Watson was a First Vice President with CB Richard Ellis, Inc. through the
acquisition of Trammell Crow Company. A native Georgian, Mr. Watson grew up in Atlanta and in
LaGrange and graduated from The University of Georgia. He is actively involved in the community with
Northside United Methodist Church, Trinity Early Learning Center, Ducks Unlimited, Senior Citizens
Services and Atlanta Charity Clays. When Mr. Watson is not working or volunteering, he enjoys coaching
his children in soccer and is an avid outdoorsman who loves to hunt, fish and play golf.
