Since our March
Fabulous Friday
event takes
place one week
before Good
Friday,
the planning
committee
wanted to make
this event most
meaningful for
our guests. We
wanted to
incorporate a
concert into the afternoon but wondered if we would be able to find a group
that would be available on a Friday afternoon.
MARCH 27TH – 1:00 PM
GREAT NEWS!!! We have been able to book OASIS for our March
Fabulous Friday event. OASIS is a mixed quartet under the leadership of
David Gast. All of the vocalists in the group are talented musicians and we
are confident that you will thoroughly enjoy their concert.
So be sure to join us at 12:00 Noon on Friday March 27th for a delicious hot
meal followed by a concert featuring OASIS.
If you do not receive a phone invitation, please be sure to call the church

FREE Exercise Classes for Seniors at GAC
MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY MORNINGS 9:00 AM TO 12:00 NOON
In cooperation with Bayshore Therapy and Rehab,
Georgetown Alliance Church is thrilled to offer FREE exercise
classes for Seniors on Monday and Wednesday mornings
from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.
Classes are scheduled by Bayshore to begin on Monday March 9th.

THURSDAY MARCH 12TH AT 1:00 TO 4:00 PM
Have you ever experienced the shutdown of your computer due to an unwelcome virus? Are you well informed
on how to limit the amount of personal information strangers can access about you through Facebook and
Google + and other websites?
Do you worry about losing any personal information to identity thieves when you are using the internet?
Do you wonder if the security tools on your computer are the same security tools that you use on your tablet and
smart phone or if those devices require different tools?
This technology workshop will deal with these and even more questions!!!
Internet security will be the focus of the Technology Workshop being held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 12th
here at the church.
We are welcoming back Chris Bint from ETAG as our presenter. If you have been to other Technology
Workshops then you will know that Chris uses language that we all can understand and everything that he
speaks about is clearly demonstrated for us, making it easy to follow along.

BUS EXCURSION
By the end of April, we will be
expecting spring to be upon us.
What better time to enjoy a cup of
tea and some delicious treats with your friends?
That’s what you can expect when you join us at our

event
at

2:00 pm on Friday April 24 .
Every spring, we load up a
luxury coach bus and head out to enjoy a fantastic day
together. (Last spring, we toured the famous Ripley’s
Aquarium then enjoyed lunch in the aquarium room at
the Mandarin Restaurant.) Our plans for this spring’s
excursion are not quite finalized but we will have details
available at both of our March events. If you can’t wait till
then to hear about it, then feel free to call Joan at (519)
