Patterns, courses & Fun Class rules will be posted. Show Safety Policy: Unruly riders, spectators, horses or dogs will be dismissed from show grounds. Please tie a red ribbon on horses that kick! No stallions will be allowed. No alcoholic beverages anywhere on the show property. Dogs must be leashed. BEGINNERS must choose between Beginner 1 and Beginner 2. You cannot cross enter. BEGINNER 1: 10 years old or younger or any age special needs rider. No green horses in this division. Side walker or trainer assistance allowed in ring if needed, but not required. See class list for eligible classes. May not enter Beginner 2, Youth, 4-H or Open classes. BEGINNER 2 : Any age rider with limited riding experience. No green horses in this division. NO side walker or trainer assistance allowed in ring. See class list for eligible classes. May not enter Beginner 1, Youth, 4-H or Open classes. YOUTH: High school seniors or younger. OPEN: Any age-Youth and Adults welcome. 4-H CLASSES: Open to current 4-H members of any grade from any club. Leader’s name and county of membership may be asked. ATTIRE AND HELMETS: ***Helmet requirement: We adhere to the current State 4-H Horse Show helmet rules. ASTM Helmets are required for all divisions, all classes, for all riders who are currently in 12th grade or younger. Helmets are recommended for riders of all ages. No penalty in any division for helmet. Boots with heels must be worn in all classes. Proper English and Western attire for all riders, including Beginners, is encouraged but not required for all related divisions. Jackets may be waived at the discretion of the judge. Look for Gwinnett 4-H signs. SHAVINGS: All stalls must use 2 bags of shavings. Please arrange for your own shavings. Bring your own or call and order by credit card through Queen Shavings 770-860-9111. Shavings are also available at Queen Shavings building on grounds. FEES: Stall fee $25. Ground Fee, (tie to trailer) $20. Office Fee $6.00 per rider. Class discount for pre-registration must be received no later than April 14. All classes are $7.00 with pre –registration.
