he ever-popular Skip-APayment program is back
for 2013! Here’s how it
works - members in good
standing can choose to skip
one or two loan payments
during November,
December and January. A modest fee
of $10 is collected for each month
skipped. The entire fee is then
donated to The Boys and Girls Clubs
of Abilene to assist their valuable
work with Abilene’s children.
Give us a call or visit one of our branches
to find out if you qualify for Skip-A-Pay.
Please Note - If your loan payment is being
made automatically from an account at
another financial institution or is being drafted
automatically from another financial institution,
please contact us at least 5 business days in advance of your
payment date. Likewise, if your loan payment is being made by
automatic transfer from an account at ATFCU, we also need at
least 5 business days’ notice in order to handle the modifications.
PLEASE NOTE: Skip payments are subject to ATFCU approval and are not available for real
estate, home equity, home improvement, overdraft, instaloan or credit card loans. New loans
that have not had at least one full monthly payment are not eligible. Full insurance coverage
must be in effect for vehicle loans.
Other restrictions may apply. Payment skips or extensions will affect interest accrual, final

Monster Mash 5K Dash
ATFCU has scheduled a
family-friendly 5K run/walk
for Saturday, October 12 at
Redbud Park. The date is
close to Halloween so your
most creative racing costumes
are encouraged! A costume contest (with prizes,
of course) will take place prior to the race. The
starting line and the costume contest will be near
the YMCA Building at Redbud Park. All proceeds
will benefit the Abilene March of Dimes. For more
