The GrapeVINE May 2013 unteer Corps serves as a link between the Community and Memorial Health System by providing support through acts of kindness, donations of time, talents and financial gifts. -MHSVC President Phyllis Welton, called the meeting to order with the Auxiliary prayer. -Minutes from previous month were approved. -Treasurer’s Report was approved. -Volunteers gave 756.75 hours in March. -Gift Shop sales totaled $229.73 in March! - 71 cards were sold in March! - The Craft Committee met twice in March. They made dish cloths, baby blankets, knitted hats, 10 bibs for the Gift Shop and 10 bibs for Learn & Grow Depot, stuffed animals for ER patients, 113 yoyo’s were made into flowers for Village Manor to use as table decorations, and 20 Flower Power awards were finished. They also worked on lap robes. WHEW! Been busy! - 51 frozen meals were sold in March. - Members of both the craft and card committees met in April to help with folding, stuffing and labeling of letters. -No TAB Cinnamon Roll sale in May. FREE Cinnamon Rolls on May 13th for Gift Shop Opening. The next meeting will be May 9th, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at the Nichols Education Center.
