Disability Resources Incorporated (DRI) is a nonprofit organization created to meet the special needs of
individuals with intellectual disabilities, including Down
syndrome, autism, and other disorders.
Founded in 1987, DRI opened its first group home in
1989. Since then, six more houses, a vocational center, an
administrative building and an activity center have been
built on our 170 acre campus just north of Abilene, Texas.
Disability Resources’ residents work in many
vocational programs, including the production of seven
delicious products that carry the DRI name. We also
contract to manufacture products for outside enterprises.
