What does my registration include?
How long is the Commencement ceremony?
Your registration includes the morning shuttle service to the
HEC, the continental breakfast, use of the golden robe for
the ceremony, a specially embroidered stole and the
Golden Iris luncheon.
The Commencement ceremony is approximately two hours
long. The group will be seated in the Honored Guest section.
If you have special seating assistance needs (wheelchair,
walker, cane, etc.), please contact our office to make
arrangements to be seated ahead of your classmates.
Is there a recommended hotel?
A room block has been reserved at the Comfort Suites, located
at 300 Division Street North. Call 715-341-6000 and ask for the
Golden Iris Group rate. Rates are $109 per night for a room.
The room block reservation deadline is April 15, 2015.
Where will my family sit?
Where should I park?
What is the menu for lunch?
Parking on the day of Commencement can be a bit tricky.
We encourage all Golden Iris Reunion members to park
in lot E on campus. We have arranged for a Golden Iris
Shuttle to take you to the door nearest the HHPL, Room 033
in the HEC.
We will be enjoying lunch in the CPS Café.
How will I get back to my car?
We have designed the schedule to bring you back!
Following the Commencement ceremony, Golden Iris
Reunion members and guests will be escorted to the CPS
Café, which is located adjacent to parking Lot E.
Where do I get my robe and stole?
Robes and stoles will be distributed during the breakfast.
The stoles are our gift to you! We will have rented robes in
various sizes for use. Robes will be collected at the lunch
after the ceremony. If you have any concerns about your
robe size, please don’t hesitate to call us.
Family and friends of Golden Iris Reunion members will be
seated in the same section as you prior to the start of
the ceremony.
The lunch includes:
• Artisan rolls with butter
• Fresh fruit salad with lime citrus drizzle
• Broiled shrimp with cilantro butter
• Champagne chicken
• White and wild rice blend
• Fresh seasonal vegetables
• Red velvet cake with butter cream frosting
If you have special dietary needs, please let us know.
