ENGLISH ORATORY CLUB
In English oratory club the students learned to express themselves clearly and precisely. The students
involved themselves in various activities enthusiastically. This helped in boosting the students' selfconfidence. The youngsters learned life skills as well as how to present themselves in business situations.
Winning the first place not only celebrates a level of accomplished excellence; Orators club has been
initiated to develop public speaking skills, confidence and the unique talents of the participating youths.
There was a competition involving orators speaking for not less than five minutes and not more than ten
minutes. The students were motivated and were taught to stress on eye contact, voice projection, diction,
knowledge of the piece and expression. Not only this, students also learned that rather than sitting back and
letting others lead, one can lead and take charge.
THEATRE CLUB
Students of the theatre group indulged in various theatre activities. Students enacted advertisements and
showed emotions like happiness, anger etc. Their enactments were convincing and very creative.

5) Students were asked to make copy to note down the work done in the club.
6) They were also asked to make a note of monuments around there house
ENVIRONMENT CLUB
The best out of waste task required the students of classes 6-10 to make containers using complete waste
products. And the kids did wonders by using stuff like waste shoe boxes, glasses, old magazines and
newspapers,
buttons
and
left
over
paints
and
sparkles.
The kids came out with unique containers such as: napkin boxes, flower vases and pencil holders.
At the end of the class, the students even took the initiative of cleaning the classroom. Being a part of this
club has surely been advantageous for the students.
INTERACT CLUB
Everyone deserves the best start in life. So join hands and seize the opportunity and build a world that is fit
for children
K.R.Mangalam World School, G.K-II focuses on the holistic development of the students. The Coscholastic genre helps our students to come out of their shell and think beyond their books and voice on
issues that happen in the society at large. Keeping up with the same on 24 April,2015 the Interact Club
focussed on the sensitive issue of Child Labour
.
In this context, students were asked to design posters to sensitize people against the violence and
exploitation which children face at such a vulnerable age. Students expressed their thoughts through
colourful visual sketches and slogans against Child Labour, on their posters. It was wonderful to see their
willingness and concern for the under privileged children.
NCC
Today the NCC cadets did March past drill. The junior cadets had their first class with their senior cadet in
which they learnt co-ordination , discipline and team work. A brief description about NCC was given to the
junior cadets by their teacher.

Nations, of its constituents and their failure to avoid the First World War. Also, about the interference of the
US and its dominance. They were told to do their own research on the above information and note it in a
diary on the UN.
MATHS CLUB
In the maths club a discussion took place on logical reasoning topic and children did two worksheets. The
first sheet was based on small kakuro puzzles and the second sheet was related to Analogy of numbers and
codes. Everyone participated willingly and with great enthusiasm.
ASTRONOMY CLUB
Use of telescope and microscope was explained to students. Students also observed images formed by
lenses. It was a great experience for the students. They really enjoyed it a lot.
SCIENCE CLUB
The session started with an active and alert group of science enthusiastic students. The concept of Latent
Heat of Fusion was discussed and explained. To bring home this point clearly, a laboratory thermometer was
immersed in a beaker filled with ice. The students observed that the temperature of ice remained constant
until the entire ice melted completely. This amazed the students. The students also learnt to read a
thermometer.
