D&E FINE WINE GROUP MAKES TEXAS APPOINTMENTS

DALLAS – D&E Fine Wine group, a division of Glazer’s, is pleased to announce new leadership
appointments in Texas.
Chad Butler is appointed Director for Sales Texas D&E Fine Wine Group. Butler will be responsible
for driving topline growth and market share for all of Glazer’s fine wine business in the state. Butler
will report to Jim Oliver, Vice President and General Manager, Texas D & E Fine Wine Group.
John Samuels is appointed Director of Business Strategy Texas D&E Fine Wine Group. Samuels
will be responsible for leading the D&E Marketing team, working with suppliers on state planning,
and working with Glazer’s Sales team to drive topline growth and market share for Glazer’s fine
wine business in the state. Samuels will also report to Jim Oliver.
Jim Oliver commented, “We are excited that Chad and John are taking on these important roles in
Texas to help us drive our fine wine business. Chad Butler will lead our the D&E Fine Wine Group
sales teams, and work with our fine wine suppliers and customers to build brands and expand our
share of the fine wine business in Texas. John Samuels has done an outstanding job in leading our
Fine Wine business in Arkansas, and we believe he will add tremendous value to our Texas
business.”
Glazer’s Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing Mike McLaughlin added, “Today’s
announcements strengthen Glazer’s commitment to the fine wine business in Texas. We are
passionate in our belief that our D&E Fine Wine Group will be a highly skilled standalone business
with the most knowledgeable and best trained staff in the marketplace.”
Chad Butler is currently State Sales Director for Glazer’s Prestige Wine Division in Texas. Butler
came to Glazer’s as part of the Prestige Wine Cellars acquisition in 2010. While at Prestige, he
served as Chain Manager, General Sales Manager, and General Manager.
John Samuels, currently General Manager D&E Fine Wine Group for Arkansas, has been with
Glazer’s for 10 years. John started with Glazer’s Arkansas as On-Premise Key Account Specialist
before moving into his current role. Samuels attended Southern Arkansas University.
