On 04/07/2015 an employee of a business in the 1600 block of Milwaukee Avenue
reported a male came to the store and caused a disturbance. The male was told not to
return to the store.

On 04/07/2015 a resident of the 300 block of Glenview Road reported between 13001600 hours someone damaged a sign displayed in their front yard. The estimated damage
is $10.00.

On 04/07/2015 a resident of the 0-100 block of Hackberry Lane reported someone broke
a passenger side window on their vehicle while it was parked on the driveway between
1230-1430 hours. The estimated damage is $250.00.

On 04/08/2015 a resident of the 1400 block of Canterbury Lane reported receiving a
letter from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requesting additional information for the
tax return they received with the resident’s information. The resident stated they did not
file yet therefore someone stole their identifying information.

On 04/08/2015 a resident of the 300 block of Glenview Road reported a former client of
theirs charged items to the resident’s business account without permission and has only
paid half of the amount owed. The unpaid amount is $2,709.00.

On 04/09/2015 a resident of the 2600 block of Violet Street reported receiving a letter
from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requesting additional information for the tax
return they received with the resident’s information. The resident stated they did not file
yet therefore someone stole their identifying information.

On 04/09/2015 a resident of the 1400 block of Plymouth Lane reported they received a
letter from a tax preparation company indicating they filed a tax return and was not
eligible to have the Refund Processing Fee taken out by their federal tax return. The
resident has never used the tax prep company and did not file their 2014 tax return yet.

On 04/09/2015 a resident of Wheeling, reported someone stole their hooded sweat shirt
and keys from a locker at a business in the 3800 block of Willow Road. They placed the
items in the locker at 1745 hours, did not lock the locker, and returned at 1845 hours to
find the items missing. The estimated loss is $40.00.

On 04/11/2015 at 0048 hours, Allyson Nathan, F, 18, 1042 Glenview Road, Glenview, IL
was cited under village ordinance for Possession of Less Than 10 Grams of Cannabis in
the 1600 block of Executive Lane.

Identity Theft
On 04/11/2015 a resident of the 1300 block of Pinehurst Drive reported an unknown
offender opened a cable TV account in their name without authorization. The
investigation revealed the account was opened at an address in Chicago. The incident
remains under investigation. Total loss is $568.21.

On 04/11/2015 at 2228 hours, a resident of the 1500 block of Kitthawk Lane reported an
unknown offender damaged their mailbox between 2140 hours and 2200 hours on
04/11/2015. Total loss is $200.00.

On 04/12/2015 at 1809 hours a refused citizen reported someone stole a stop sign from
the corner of Pleasant Drive and Highland Terrace. The sign was on a barricade since the
original sign and post were damaged in a hit and run crash (15-11431). The estimated
loss is $50.00.

On 04/13/2015 a resident of the 900 block of Club Circle reported after they filed their
tax return they received a letter from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) indicating a
return already existed using their identifying information.

On 04/13/2015 at 1624 hours the contractor doing work at a business in the 1600 block of
Milwaukee Avenue reported a male returned to the property after previously being
warned not to return. The male left prior to police arrival.

On 04/13/2015 a resident of the 2400 block of Greenfield Drive reported receiving a bill
in the mail with their name and address stating they owed money on their account. The
resident stated they never opened an account therefore someone stole their identity and
created the account without their permission.

On 04/14/2015 at 0040 hours Victor Vasquez, M, 19, 221 W. Manchester Drive,
Wheeling, IL was cited under village ordinance in the 3500 block of Milwaukee Avenue
for Possession of Less Than 10 Grams of Cannabis after a traffic stop.

On 04/14/2015 at 0203 hours Rachel Burns, F, 20, 328 Harlem Ave., Glenview, IL was
cited under village ordinance at her home for Minor in Possession of Alcoholic Beverage
after the investigation of a noise complaint.

On 04/14/2015 a resident of the 1000 block of Pleasant Lane reported receiving a letter
from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to contact them regarding inconsistencies with
the resident’s 2014 tax return. The resident stated they have not filed their tax return for
this year.
