CLAT – 2015
Guidance & Preparation Assistance Programme
Of late, law has become a promising career option. In fact, now it is the most emerging,
challenging and rewarding career arena. Law profession is one of the fastest growing and
lucrative professions all over the world. With the emergence of world class institutions in the
form of National Law Universities (NLUs), 5 Years under-graduate course (LL.B) and 1 Year
post-graduate course (LL.M) have become most popular career options.
Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is the all India entrance examination conducted for
admission to under-graduate and post-graduate degree programmes (LL.B & LL.M) in these
National Law Universities (NLUs) of India. Not only that, now even to get enrolled with any
fabled law colleges of India, a CLAT score is prerequisite.
This essentiality of CLAT score for getting admission to NLUs and all other reputed law
institutions of the country has tremendously increased competition among the candidates.
With this mounting competition, it becomes desirable to get trained under expert guidance
for qualifying the test. There are many contenders who are incapable to avail any guidance
classes because of high fee charged by private institutions providing such guidance.
Gujarat National Law University (GNLU), a premier law University of the country
recognizing the growing importance and scope of LAW as a career, through its ‘Legal
Services Cell and Internship, Placement Division’ has brought this tailor made preparatory
programme, “CLAT Guidance & Preparation Assistance Programme” for all Common Law
Admission Test (CLAT - 2015) aspirants seeking admission to UG & PG courses in various
NLUs.
This programme is another milestone in the journey of Gujarat National Law University
(GNLU) towards its social commitment of becoming efficient instruments of development
and to achieve the proclaimed objective of ‘to advance and disseminate learning and
knowledge of law and legal processes and their role in national development’.
Social advance depends quite as much upon an increase in moral sensibility as it does upon a sense of duty
