These cards contain all the basic information about Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and Day School. Cards will be prepared in the coming weeks; we are asking that everyone at both the church and school take a small stack to keep on their person. When the opportunity arises, simply hand your friends, neighbors, and business associates a card to tell them about Good Shepherd! Day School Auction We will be having our third annual auction at Tarragona on May 2, 2015! Our goals for the auction funds are to provide for more teachers training, more technology for teachers and children, create a fund for ongoing playground and gardening experiences, and build an excellent children's library to enhance literacy. We are looking for individuals to bring items in to create theme baskets (we can get pretty creative, so send us anything unopened/new). We also are asking local businesses of any type for donations, and private individuals to donate a long weekend or full week at a vacation The deadline to designate 2014 home for the auction. These items CHOICE dollars is fast approaching. or certificates can be brought to the Thrivent Financial no longer has church or preschool office. Thrivent Deadline Approaching We will be holding our annual basketball tournament to support Faith Café April 18th 2015 at Good Shepherd. We are looking to spread the word to as many friends and family
as possible so that we can come out have some fun and support our community. Please visit our church website www.goodshepherdtampa.org or call the church office 8138773105 for information or to sign up. This is a coed 5 on 5 tournament with each team guaranteed to play at least 2 games. Participants must be at least 9th grade or higher. There is a $50 entry fee per team with all proceeds going directly to Faith Café to support the mission of serving our neighbors in
need with dignity and respect. You can find out more about Faith Café at www.faithcafetampa.com. We will be looking for volunteers to help support the event (Setup, Food, Drinks, Tents, Referees, Prizes, Marketing, Thrivent Action Team Support etc.).
