Association of Oklahoma General Contractors Scholarship The recipient must be enrolled as a student at Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology, in the Construction Technology program. The recipient must have an expressed interest in highway and bridge construction. Bill Leib Culinary Scholarship The recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student at OSUIT in the School of Culinary Arts Program and must have a grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Selection preference will be given to students who volunteer at Culinary Art events. Bob Klabenes Endowed Scholarship Fund* The recipient must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at OSUIT-Okmulgee working toward an Associate Degree in Applied Science or a Bachelor of Technology Degree and must have documented financial need. The recipient must have completed a minimum of twelve (12) semester credit hours at OSU IT with a grade point average of at least 2.4 on a 4.0 scale, computed solely on courses completed at OSUIT-Okmulgee. The award is renewable as long as the recipient continues to meet the criteria set forth herein. Selection preference shall be given to students enrolled in the Registered Nurse Program. Brandon Thrash & Valerie Carter Fine Dining Scholarship* The recipient must be enrolled as a full time student at OSUIT-Okmulgee and must have completed a minimum of two semesters in the Culinary Arts program. The recipient must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and must submit an original recipe that has never been selected as a winning entry in any competitive contest, to the selection committee. Selection preference will be given to students who are residents of the State of Oklahoma and who are currently employed or interning in a fine dining establishment. Bruce Mercer Memorial Scholarship The recipient must be enrolled as either a part-time or full-time student at OSUIT in the Division of Arts and Sciences. The recipient may be a high school student participating in concurrent courses at OSUIT or selected from the current OSUIT student body. The recipient must be in good academic standing and making sufficient progress toward completion of his/her program of study. Selection preference shall be given to first generation college students. The number of awards and size of the award shall be determined by the selection committee. Tony Garcia Jr. Memorial Scholarship The recipient must be enrolled as either a part-time or full-time student at OSU IT and must have a grade point average of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. In order to increase minority diversity among students at OSU IT, first selection preference shall be given to students of Hispanic origin. Recipients must reapply for award consideration each year. Walter and Marion Coyle Endowment@ Prospective or continuing students with a minimum GPA of 2.5 are eligible to apply. Wanda S. Payne Endowed Scholarship* The recipient must be enrolled as a student in good standing in the Health Science Program at OSUIT and must have a grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Willis Worley Jr. Memorial Sch. / Curby & Aline Brown@ The Fund will be used to provide scholarships for students enrolled at OSUIT Okmulgee. The OSUIT Foundation administers a number of scholarships that are funded and awarded by individuals, agencies and organizations. Donors set scholarship requirements and the OSUIT Scholarship Committee/Foundation Board selects the recipients. Scholarships are based on availability of funds. Scholarship recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student degree seeking student. An eligible applicant may not be awarded more than one OSUIT Foundation Scholarship per academic year. If the recipient withdraws from classes, any money resulting from a refund will be redirected to the OSU Foundation. Each Scholarship Recipient will be notified by letter * NOTE: Financial Need is determined by a completed FAFSA.
