Village Square Launches Third Thursdays Monthly Series
Kicks-Offs Series with Rock ‘n Roll Auto Show and Live Music
LAS VEGAS – Village Square, the popular open-air shopping, dining, entertainment and professional
office center located at 9400 W. Sahara Ave. and Ft. Apache Rd., has announced a new monthly series
Third Thursdays, which is set to kick-off with a Rock ‘n Roll Auto Show this Thursday, April 16 from 6 to 8
p.m. Third Thursdays expands Village Square’s momentum of tremendous growth, renovations and
special events by providing the community additional fun activities while taking advantage of
promotions at the award-winning and diverse group of shops and restaurants that call the center home.
“Village Square is well-known for being a go-to place for family shopping, movies and dining during the
day,” says Josie Weisshaupt, Village Square Project Manager. “That energy and vibrancy continues on
after the sun goes down as the 250,000 square-foot center comes alive. That is what Third Thursdays is
all about. It’s about celebrating the night life, embracing the opportunities to dine at award-winning
restaurants, catching independent films not available anywhere else in town or taking in the mild Las
Vegas temperatures at one of the many sitting areas while sipping a latte.”
The April 16 inaugural event will include special classic and custom cars which will be parked around the
perimeter of the parking lot closest to the business entrances along with live music provided by Mark
Alan and Friends. Village Square businesses will participate by offering discounts and promotions to
participating guests and providing a raffle prize. There will be an informational booth stationed in front
of Keller Williams where participants may pick up cards which will list two clues, one is the location of
the promotion or discount and the second is a secret word that only the shop owner knows. The shop
owner verifies the correct answer to the riddle and then the participant qualifies for the discount or
promotion.
The schedule is as follows:
6:00 pm.
Listen to live music while enjoying the beauty of the classic cars on display. Raffle tickets will be sold at
the Keller Williams booth. Proceeds to benefit Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth.
6:30 p.m.
Scavenger hunt begins

Band plays second set

At the conclusion of the event guests are welcomed to stay and enjoy Village Square’s night life and the
various discounts and promotions available at participating shops and restaurants throughout the
center.
