A quality educational program is planned for Monday afternoon followed by the reception. Our traditional time of fellowship, prayer and testimony will again be held on Tuesday morning as well as the 4th Annual Fertilizer 5K Fun Run and Walk at 8:00 AM. Later Tuesday morning, there will be a Shotgun Sports Event at the Amelia Shotgun Sports facility with training available for inexperienced shooters. The ever popular and exciting Silent Auction, with banquet immediately following, will be the place to be on Tuesday Evening. For your convenience, registration fees and dues may be paid by credit card. Dress for all events is “Resort Casual”. Please remember the special room rate of $230.00 applies only if your reservation is made by THE DEADLINE OF THURSDAY, JUNE 18, 2015. Please note that any fees incurred due to early departure are the responsibility of the individual, not GPFES. PLEASE REMEMBER, YOU MUST BE A CURRENT MEMBER OF G.P.F.E.S. CERTIFIED CROP ADVISER CEU TRAINING A CCA CEU training session will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Approximately 3.5 hours of credit will be offered. This outstanding resort has proven to be the favorite choice of our members and, with the updates that have recently been completed, will offer an even better opportunity to relax and enjoy the pools, restaurants and spa, not to mention the great restaurants on the Island. The Silent Auction on Tuesday Evening prior to the banquet is the highlight of the Summer Meeting. This is the time when all ages gather to enjoy the fellowship and the competition of the auction. You don’t want to miss this year’s auction as it will be better than ever. Again this year, there will be a 5-K Fun Run/Walk on Tuesday morning. Please indicate your interest on the registration form included in this packet. Additionally, a Shotgun Sports event is planned for Tuesday morning at the Amelia Shotgun Sports facility, only 15 minutes from the Ritz-Carlton. A minimum of 25 participants must register in order to hold this event so please indicate interest on the registration form. Payment will be made on site. Training for inexperienced shooters will be available. Rooms are limited so do not delay making your reservation. The Ritz-Carlton has a site for GPFES members to use to make reservations.
