Words From Our Bishop…
My wife and I welcome every delegate to the first Greater Tri-State Council
(GTSC) session of 2015. God is doing great things and we are glad. I'm confident
in my spirit this year will be one filled with abundant blessings. Nevertheless, we
must understand that every blessing comes with activated faith. Faith is not
merely the belief in the possibility of a blessing but taking definitive steps of
action through our works.
I am very proud of the ministries in the GTSC and love to hear of the maturity
and growth that has taken place among the saints of this Diocese. More than ever,
it is now time to honor God with the first fruits of not just our natural increase but
also our spiritual increase. As a council we have matured. Just as a tree sheds its
fruit at its time of maturity, we must reproduce that same greatness in other
people. "He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth
fruit in its season" - Psalm 1:3. It is our season to bring forth fruit.
This mark of leadership is where we must now place our focus. Our council's
pastors and I have sown into the members of this Diocese the seed-bearing fruits
of the spirit. If these seeds have taken root and manifested growth in your life, it
is now time to sow this same fruit into other people.
Words From Our Chairman…
Lady Saleta and I would like to welcome the delegates of the Greater Tri-State
Council to our Spring Session. Just as Paul wrote to the Corinthian Church, I
remind our body that ... "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered
into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love
him" - 1 Corinthians 2:9. We have not yet seen all that God has in store for the
GTSC.
Our Council Theme for 2015 is: Reproduction Through Leadership. The five
in 2015 represents God's Grace and High Favor towards us. As God continues
to Favor Bishop and Lady Foster, along with the GTSC and its leadership, we
should gather together and give Him High Praise. High Favor/High Praise! If I
be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me - John 12:32.
Let us continue to lead this generation back to God through our praise. As
Highly Favored people of God, our Leadership example of High Praise will
foster Spiritual Reproduction and draw others to Christ as we build up our
Great Council!
Again, we extend to you a blessed welcome.
Sincerely Yours in Christ’s service,
Bishop Lance R. Foster, GTSC Diocesan
In His Service,
District Elder Mark Anderson, GTSC Chairman
