What is Recoverit?
•
Recoverit comes as white or colored speckled granule that can
ADSORB all types of hydrocarbons
•
It’s Hydrophobic and Oleophilic
•
Can be used on Water, Sand and Soil
•
Adsorbs up to 25 times it’s own weight
Only absorbs 0.01% water

Recoverit
• Recoverit (how supplied):
Loose Granules--1 box/case contains a bag of Recoverit that weighs
12.5kg/27.5pounds (adsorbs up to 800-1200gls of hydrocarbons)
Socks/ Pillows —30 per /case
5 Gallon Spill Kits– 5gl bucket, socks/pads, personal protection

Recoverit and Recycle
•
Separates very easily from collected oils by the centrifuge
•
Recoverit can be reused many times once the centrifuge
process is complete
•
Recoverit is environmentally friendly
•
Recovered hydrocarbons can be recycled/transformed into biodiesel
•
When Recoverit has reached its lifecycle it may be recycled
into the asphalt processes

Four Primary Uses
• Emergency Response
• Contaminated Soil Sites
• Water Filtration systems for Oily Bilges and
contaminated ground water
• Air Pollution ie..exhaust/hydrocarbon emissions
current studies revealed a 38% reduction

Emergency Response
• This Market accounts for over 33,000 oil
spill incidences and over 85 million gallons
of hydrocarbon spilled in the U.S.
annually.
• Oil spills on water- New Orleans 2008
barge oil spill incident cost over $95 million
within a two week period.
