Looking to leave school this year and step straight into employment?
If you are, a Level 2 Modern Apprenticeship in Food Manufacture at Greenvale AP Ltd is just
what you need. Not only will you gain invaluable industry recognised vocational

processed potatoes.
We employ approximately 800 people across 9 different locations throughout the UK and
mainland Europe. Our site at Duns employs 200 people between the Production, Growing
and Administration functions. Within Production, we have a number of departments
including; Intake, Grading, Washlines, Quality Control, Packing and Despatch.
Apprenticeship Programme
We are looking to recruit up to 6 young people aged 16 – 18 into our Apprenticeship
Programme, commencing in June 2015. The programme is anticipated to last up to 18
months during which you will work towards achieving an industry recognised vocational
qualification made up of 8 units. The units are specifically designed to provide you with the
skills and knowledge that will help you to build your career within Greenvale. On
completion the Apprentices will make a seamless transition into a role within the business.
Qualification:
Level 2 Modern Apprenticeship in Food Manufacture – Production Control Skills
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm (37.5 hours per week)
Minimum Entry Requirements:
National 4s and preferably
5 Core Skills (including; Communication/Numeracy/
Working with Others/ICT/Problem Solving)
Skills and Attributes:
You should have good organisational and communication skills; the ability to work as part of
a team in order to meet production targets; the ability to work to health and safety and food
safety requirements; flexibility to work in different departments and a keen interest in
learning more about a food production environment.
