Vacancy description and requirements Vacancy Short Description The apprentice will learn how to sell to, manage and generate customer accounts with sports clubs and organisations. The apprenticeship will involve a considerable element of graphic design, web based content management and customer communication (face-to-face and over the telephone). Vacancy Full Description The role will include a wide variety of tasks, including but not limited to: Order taking Graphic design Order packing Updating the company website Processing orders Customer service Dealing with telephone enquiries General administrative duties Training To Be Provided The candidate will follow an intermediate apprenticeship training programme where they will study a Business and Administration level 2 NVQ. If the candidate does not already hold relevant qualifications in Maths, English and ICT they may also be required to complete Functional skills qualifications in Maths, English and ICT at level 1. This training will be structured and delivered by South Cheshire College in Crewe. Other Important Information From the 1st October 2014 a National Minimum Wage (NMW) for Apprentices is in force for young people aged 16-18 and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. The rate is a minimum of £2.73 per hour. This NMW applies to time working plus time spent training as this is also part of the Apprenticeship.
