Join us tonight for, FOOD, FUN and FELLOWSHIP after the
service in the FAMILY LIFE CENTER. Pastor Kevin will lead us
in an abbreviated service (preaching &
singing) then we’ll go over to the FLC for
a meal of grilled hotdogs, baked beans,
and chips. Afterwards we’ll have a
softball game for fun. This is a great
opportunity to connect with your church family
as the summer begins! Invite a friend!
Saturday, June 13th – We need lots of
volunteers to help us with a variety of projects both
inside and outside of the church. We will begin at
8:00 am.
Ladies! Would you be interested in attending a
Beth Moore Bible study here at our church? The
study, entitled “God’s Dwelling Place,” parallels the
building of the Tabernacle and how your life is a
chosen vessel of honor for God. It will be led by
Sherri Woolard and will meet Thursday evenings
at 7:00 pm (12 weeks) in the Family Life Center. The cost for the materials is
$18.00. Please sign up by TODAY if you plan on attending. Invite a friend!
New Quarter Starts Today!
Are you and your family attending
Sunday School? If not, we’d love to
have you join us as we begin this new
quarter of Biblical studies. We have
classes for every member of the
family. Our children will be learning about God’s love and power, while our
teenagers will learn about moral purity. The adult classes will be studying
prophets, priests, and kings (1 Kings 3-22; 2 Chronicles 1-24; 2 Kings 1-13;
Obadiah, & Joel).
Vacation Bible School
June 15th-19th
Pray for this exciting week of outreach and
discipleship for children and youth. We need
workers in a variety of different areas to help
make this week a huge success. Please speak
with Bro. Cutler if you would like to volunteer!
We need jars for the craft projects this year
(small – large). We also need plastic 2 liter soft
drink bottles. We will have a collection
container in the main foyer of the church to
collect these items. VBS kickoff service, Sunday
night, June 14th in the old church sanctuary!
Closing VBS program, Sunday night, June 21st.
The Academy of Arts Drama Team –
Sunday Morning, June 21st The Academy is a
Christian ministry that performs dramas based on the
stories of the Bible or the lives of great Christian
servants God has used throughout the centuries. The
drama team will be performing the life of George
Muller. Invite a friend to attend. We will receive a love
offering for this ministry after the service.
Send a Kid to Camp!
Our juniors and teens will be going to the Wilds
Christian Camp in Brevard, NC July 13th-18th. This
year we are anticipating a good number of young
people who will be attending. The cost for the entire
week of camp is $310.00 per person. The Wilds is
an incredible place where young people have lots of
fun, but more importantly, where they hear the fervent preaching and teaching
of God’s Word. Would you consider helping us sponsor a child or teenager go
to camp? Please speak with Kathy Smart for more details. Thanks for your
