The purpose will be to review and vote on an amendment to the current church by-laws. A packet of information is now available at the welcome center table for your review prior to this meeting. The packet consists of an information letter from our Deacon Chairman, Adrian Epps and highlighted/color copies of the current by-laws and all amendments showing every proposed change. Amending church by-laws is an important matter and every member is encouraged to review the materials and attend this meeting. Children’s Ministry: We are excited to announce that Kid’s Church is changing locations! We will be moving into the north side of the fellowship hall (by the windows) beginning Sunday, February 22. This is a big change for us, but we are excited to be closer to the sanctuary. TeamKID: TeamKID will meet tonight at 6 PM. We are moving to a new location too! We are going back up into room 202 on TeamKID nights beginning February 22. It’s another big change, but we are super excited! VBS: VBS is June 1-5 this year, and it’s coming sooner than you imagine. Please pray that God will use VBS to reach kids for Jesus, and how you can be a part of that with us! Kid’s Camp: The deadline to register for Kid’s Camp is February 11. Kid’s Camp is for kids who have completed grades 2-5 and is scheduled for July 12-16 at Linden Valley this year. If you are the parent of a child who has completed grades 2-5, please pick up your registration form at the check in station before Sunday School or Kid’s Church. You can return the form and your $50 deposit to John McEuen or Mindy Waggener. Please get your forms turned in this week; if you have any questions, please call the children’s department. Deacon Widow Banquet: Our Deacon Widow Banquet will be Student Life: Youth Yard Sale: We are receiving items for our youth missions yard sale! An area in the church offices is designated for you to bring small loads anytime during the week. To schedule a pick up please call the Student Ministry office at 349-5005. A tax receipt is available upon request. Spring Break Retreat: March 9-11, Cost: $40.00 per student. We will be taking a two night trip to Nashville which will consist of Mammoth Cave tour and Antique Archeology (The American Pickers store), Opry Mills Mall, movie night, etc. A minimum of 15 students is needed to sign up to make this trip happen. Payment is due when you sign-up today, or you can call the Student Ministry office at 349-5005. D-NOW is April 2-4! Please be praying now for students that will attend.
