World Pray for all who are in danger on the sea - through their work, travel, or escape to safer countries
for all who will be affected by cuts in care funding
We pray for those elected into Government Pray for countries where faith is persecuted Church Deanery Prayers for St Barnabas Church, Adeyfield
As St Barnabas Church prays for growth in many respects, we pray for:
their START Course for seekers and the leaders
their planned extension building project and the fund raising for it
the effective working relationship of their new PCC
the best form of sharing the Good News with our community developing the W elcome Team through training and example
preparations for the holiday club in July with Holy Trinity Church and Adeyfield Free Church, that many children in the area would know the Good News of Jesus.

A visit by the missionaries they support, that their 3 day trip to Adeyfield in early August would encourage the church to think beyond Hemel to God’s work among Arab / African refugees in Southern Spain

Church Away Day. CATHLEP DENS If you wish to give regularly to CATHLEP DENS there is an Envelope Scheme to sign up for. This is not to be confused with or be an alternative to planned giving to our church.

The previous 8 weeks have been so much appreciated that we will continue the exploration of prayer and meditation. The programme is:
- Meditation with the use of music
- Meditation using touch - hand crosses, beads
- Meditation from the WCCM - Prayer Labyrinths - (7-9pm) Meditation and Creativity - Meditation through nature and creation
- Meditation through food Please note that whilst there is the opportunity to interact with this season of medita on, the opportunity is s ll provided to sit in s llness as before. Don’t be put oﬀ by new things!
Family Fun Day Sunday 14th June for Woodhall Farm & Grovehill. The event will run on the Adventure Play Ground from 11am - 5pm on Sunday 14th June and should be a great day out for all the family with free entry. There will be children’s fairground rides, food stalls, live music and entertainment, bouncy castle and a variety of stalls With plenty of parking available and free entry, why not come along?
CAR BOOT COLLECTIONS We will be gathering items for carboot sales for this summer. Please speak to Gloria about this.
NEW SERVICE ROTAS are being arranged for July to December. Please speak to Jenny if you wish to be involved
The Alban Pilgrimage
On Saturday 20th June 2015 we will be going to the Alban Pilgrimage. Please sign up on the form to express your interest in coming and we will try to provide lifts. W e will need drivers to offer transport in their cars. The time table of the parade, service and picnic is on the form.
