For many of you, this will be your child’s first Summer Camp experience. We
invite you to join us for the exciting activities we have scheduled this summer. We
love having moms, dads, and grandparents participate!
Summertime in the South brings very hot temperatures. We have plans in
place to keep our children and staff members cool and well-hydrated. There will be
water fountains and/or water pitchers available so all children will have access to
water with individual cups during outdoor play. Pitchers of ice water will also be
kept in the classrooms and water will be given out frequently throughout the day.
Please stay informed about our Summer Camp activities and events by picking
up the Summer Camp calendar at the front desk. Activities and events are marked
on the Summer Camp calendar, on the Parent Board in your child’s classroom, and
on the dry erase board located in the lobby of the center.
As a reminder, each Friday our K2 through K4 preschool summer campers will
participate in outdoor water play. This is a fun day that the children look forward to
each week. Please send your child to school in a labeled swimsuit. Be sure to send in
a labeled towel as well as labeled change of clothes to change into after water play.
Lastly, we know children, especially school-age children, want to bring in
personal items from home during the summer . . . video games, IPods, etc. We want to
remind you that we cannot be held responsible for any personal item brought from
home that is damaged, lost, or “disappears”. If you have any questions concerning
Summer Camp, please stop by the front
desk. We want you to be well-informed!
