1) Deadline for the GSCN Conference:
The first deadline for the 3rd International Annual Conference of the GSCN is coming up: 31 May is the
last day for the abstract submission to be considered for the oral presentation and early bird
registration. Apply soon if you want to present your exciting new data to the conference audience.
Also consider applying for a GSCN travel award by the same deadline. Hotel prices in Frankfurt rise
fast, consider to book your hotel early! Link: GSCN conference accommodation
2) GSCN Award “Best publication of the Year 2014/15?
The GSCN has established a new award: “Best publication of the Year 2014/2015”! It will be selected
in July 2015 based on the publications from July 2014 - July 2015. If you like to have a publication by
you or a colleague to be considered, send a pdf version to the GSCN Office [email protected]
The first author will give a presentation in the presidential session at the GSCN conference on 10
September, 2015 in Frankfurt/Main. The award also includes an amount of 1,500 €.
The awardees will be selected by the GSCN conference 2015 program committee and the executive

3) Take a look at “Stem Cell Technologies in Germany” – the GSCN Annual Magazine 2014/2015
The new annual magazine of the GSCN is online as pdf in English and in German. Check it out and find
interesting reports about stem cell technologies in Germany – from 3D printing of cells to model
organisms, bio banking and gene editing. You’ll encounter a broad overview of the German state of art
in stem cell technologies, locations and protagonists. And there are interesting GSCN-news – numbers,
reports and events, activities and new materials of the German stem cell network of the past year!
