MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT/WAIVER FOR VOLUNTEER MARSHAL
Marshals (aged 18+) participate in the URBAN GUERILLA RACE 2015 in order to direct runners along
designated routes at points where a route changes direction or if there is a major intersection or special
road condition (e.g. a coned lane).
Marshals will be transported to their designated area and locations where marshalling is needed, and will
be returned to assembly area once all runners have passed their position. A free marshal T-shirt is
provided to wear and to keep afterwards. A free meal is provided after, where additional duties may be
assigned. Marshals need to have a working cell phone for communication with the assigned
officers. Sunscreen, water and a sun hat are also required for yo u r h ydr a t io n a nd p r ot e ct io n

I, the undersigned Volunteer, desire to work as a Volunteer Marshal for TrueNorth-Guerilla Race
Inc. (URBAN GUERILLA RACE 2015) on April 12, 2015 at Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center,
Quezon City and that I shall engage in the activities related to being a volunteer Marshal.
I hereby voluntarily, execute this Volunteer Waiver under the following terms:
I, the Volunteer, release and hold harmless TN Guerilla Race Inc. and its successors and assigns from
any and all liability, claims, and demands of whatever kind or nature, either in law or in equity, which
arise or may hereafter arise from my volunteer work with the company.
I understand that this Waiver discharges the company from any liability or claim that I, the
Volunteer, may have against TN-Guerilla Race Inc. with respect to bodily injury, personal injury,
illness, death, or property damage that may result from my participation on the company’s event. I
also fully understand that the company does not assume any responsibility for or obligation to provide
financial assistance or other assistance, including but not limited to medical, health or disability
insurance, in the event of injury, illness, death or property damage.
I understand that my time with TN-Guerilla Race Inc. may include various activities that may be
hazardous to me and I hereby expressly and specifically assume the risk of injury or harm in these
activities and release the company from all liability for injury, illness, death, or property damage
resulting from the activities of my time with the company.
I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY
UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING
IT, AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT.
