Registration is online at: https://sites.google.com/site/sss185apollobeach/tbssr-registration email
[email protected].
Register before April 6th, 2015 and be guaranteed a t-shirt. Facilities and equipment limits us to the first
175 registered scouts and scouters. It’s for the youth; please observe a minimum of a 1 adult/3 scout
ratio.
Registration is grouped by Crew within your Ship. Divide your ship into Crews of 3 to 5 scouts. Your unit
leaders are registered as their own Crew. You will decide the sailing style of each crew,
Traditional/Competitive or Sail to “Know Where” so we can make arrangements for your boats. We will
make every effort to have a “Competitive Boat” for each crew pre-registered. Please remember that
your crews will be assigned boats based on the crew size you give us and it may not be possible to
change crews around.

Check In/Check Out/BSA Important Stuff
Event check-in is planned to start as early as 1800 hrs Friday, April 17, 2015. Dinner is on your own. You
(Boatswain) and your Skipper should check-in with us in the Club House to receive your Welcome
Packet, schedules and event t-shirts.
Activity uniforms will be the dress for the event, except Saturday evening where Field Uniforms should
be worn.
All Sea Scouts and Unit Leaders should be prepared with closed toed boat shoes or sneakers with
white soles and a BSA activity approved PFD with them. Respect the boats and owners, do not wear
shoes that will mark or damage their vessels. No Open Toed Footwear, except in the shower.
Accommodations for the weekend are free camping on TSS property; bring your own tent, camp chairs
and air mattresses. There may be a few tents to loan - first ask, first serve. Area hotel/motels
alternatives are available upon request.
All crews will be helping with general duties like daily and final clean-up, small-boat
assembly/disassembly. The sign-up sheet will be available at registration and all jobs filled in with
volunteers by the end of the Boatswains meeting Friday night.
Once your Ship is checked in NO SCOUTS ARE PERMITTED TO LEAVE TSS PROPERTY WITHOUT A UNIT
LEADER! Any scouts found off TSS property will BE SENT HOME!
Respect our TSS neighbors and remember sounds carries. Quiet time will be observed between 2300
hrs and 0700 hrs.
Free time swimming and boating must have your Skipper’s approval and Safe Swim Defense and Safety
Afloat guidelines in place provided by your unit. Because of the nature of our harbor, all swimmers will
need water shoes. No barefoot swimming!
Sea Scout Adult Leader Basic Training will be available. Please indicate at registration if there is interest
to participate so we can plan accordingly.
