Descriptions
Baby Play classes use songs,
movement, infant Makaton signing,
puppets, bubbles, musical instruments
and baby sized apparatus. In every
class we enjoy group activities, parent
discussion time and then exploration
of our “Sensory Areas”

The immerging movers learn how they
can make things happen as they
explore cause and effect and work on
strength building activities by using
our ramps, slides, climbers and
tunnels. The songs and movement of
our ‘baby boogies’ are a fun way to
encourage social awareness

balance and co-ordination. Prop

Motor planning is crucial for
children at this phase of
development. We explore patterns,
sequences of action and
cooperative play using our
Gymboree equipment as a tool for
physical, cognitive and social
development.

Imaginary themes and creative play
support the development of
“symbolic thinking” at Level 5. We
transform our Gymboree slides,
tunnels and climbers into
Dinosaurs, fire engines, jungles and
more.

Imaginary play, storybooks,
equipment play, group and
independent play, our level 6
children learn critical listening and
language skills that support their
pre-school readiness

Encourage curiosity and build selfconfidence in your pre-schooler
through drama, Imaginary play
scapes and fitness fun. All these
elements combine to create an
environment that nurtures the key
social and emotional skills needed
for successful transition to school.
Wednesday 3.00pm
Introduction to Theatre with acting
singing and dancing and creating
props and costumes to go along with
the theme. The children do and 8
week program and parents are
invited to a showing at the end of
each unit. Great for confidence and
school readiness.
